Unless I'm wrong, which I might be, but you didn't mention that Sculptra can significantly increase the difficulty of doing a facelift later by causing adhesion between the different layer of the face. In fact, you even discussed this in previous videos, but did not mention it all in this one. The evidence, has been in fact, found during facelift operations , and is well documenteed. Sculptra has been linked to this. Just wondering. I love your channel, you are in incredible, but I just have to bring this up. Thank you!

Absolutely HATED Sculptra! Colleges developed into lumps and bumps (some only palpable under the skin and some visible on the surface. The downside risks aren’t worth it.

I respect you a lot and consider you one of the top surgeons out there, but you have to also warn people of the potential side effects and risks related of Sculptra. I read a lot of nightmarish testimonials on Reddit. I don't have time to dig through them all right now to back my claims (but I can do it if necessary), but the main points I took from them all is: Sculptra cannot be dissolved, it's also unpredictable (i.e. some people have a very strong reaction to it and nodules of collagen form under their skin which can be pretty painful) - and continue forming for a long time. It's actually addressed to 50+ year olds that have a low immune response but because a lot of young people inject it nowadays it can cause such complications. Also, Dr. Nayak who is another great surgeon showed in a video how tissue looks that was not injected with Sculptra (basically easy to separate layer by layer) vs with Sculptra (scar tissue forms and it just glues together, making the surgeon's job much more difficult should anyone want to get a face lift in the future).

Can you get a DP FL if you've had Sculptra? Some surgeons won't do a FL if the patient has had Sculptra. It's critically important for the injector to know what they're doing. Does a PA have the same level of education as an injector who is an M.D. insofar as facial anatomy and other relevant areas of knowledge?

Sculptra, or poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) is unsafe, mostly due to concerns over side effects or long-term consequences. While the product is FDA-approved (money...money...money...you know...) and widely used, there have been reports of complications, including: lumps and nodules, scar tissue,, granulomas, migration, allergic reactions...

I had Sculptra in my temples at 58. I had it done at a trusted med spa. She brought it slightly down to the tops of my cheeks too. I've never had filler. I only had one vial total, and the result was very subtle, but I definitely had some "plumping up" effect. I think it even helped with my under eye wrinkles (I think from going into cheeks). I only did one session. I was happy with it, and plan to have more at some point.

Fat loss in the face cannot be repaired with a collagen inducer (Sculptra) : they are not the same layers of the dermis/hypodermis. Have liposculpture to restore your loss of volume.

9:30 Sorry, Dr. Linkov, but the results are not impressive at all. The procedure seems like a waste of money and potentially harmful, but only time will tell. Not long ago, HA fillers were highly praised and promised to dissolve within a few months. In fact, they dissolve only partially and can migrate.

What total rubbish. You don't even explain what your basis is for this notion of yours. Sculptura (and other biostimulators such as PRP etc) do an amazing job in the right hands. I have had treatments with it for several years and at 54 have no visible lines or wrinkles. I often have people think I am late 30s early 40s. If you watch Dr Rajani's channel You will gain some insight on what sculptura can and can't do. Alongside an excellent skincare routine, diet etc. it can be incredibly de-aging.

What is your definition of a "treatment"? 1 vial? I have an appointment to get Sculptra for the 1st time on January 15, 2025 for 2 vials. I am 64 years old & have had the facelift, CO2 laser, daily sunscreen, excellent skincare for decades, etc.

There are a lot of videos recently about fillers migrating in the face. It creates "pillow face" in some people, which people have mixed feelings about. I was more concerned with the videos saying filler can make its way into the lymph system in the worst case scenario. The lesser bad case scenario was that the solution to dissolve HA will dissolve best when administered immediately. But, if you wait, it can dissolve your body's own collagen and material, leaving you permanently wrinkly and lacking in tone. How does sculptra fit in to these kinds of situations?

Well.... some people have very thin skin in dome areas of the face. A colleague of mine, and also her husband, both have very thin undereye skin, and their daughter inherited it. She's 3, with super prominent dark circles. I actually first thought she may have hit her nose and gotten two black eyes, but no - it's just very thin skin with basically no fat under. I can imagine someone being self-concious about stuff like that. Most 20-year-olds certainly don't need this, though.

The before-after photos look... the same? Besides the scarring which could complicate a later facelift, Sculptra would cost thousands. As a non-surgeon, you're probably better off going for a facelift that can last 10-15 years rather than trying to solve a sagging problem with filler. If your only problem is volume loss, maybe it's the right thing, but I'd still tend to fat transfer as a more permanent solution.

Can Sculptra be used along with autologous lipofilling in the nasal cartilage in order to disguise asymmetries that aren't covered by either hyaluronic acid or botox? For example: volume aumentation of the cartilage on the side opposite to the deviation and on the little wing of the side of the deviation, so that the tip looks a bit (trickily) more even despite the deviation itself?

People who are doing this type of procedure are obviously concerned about their looks and aren't happy with the way they look.

You can't have a bad day without being told you look tired or asked why aren't you smiling. Fat transfer is easy, painless and with very few complications. You likely will never reject your own fat. Can be done in one sitting in most cases. Small incision around the belly for withdrawal. Small areas in the face where its injected will leave a bruise maybe. All this stiff is way too expensive even sculptra but the effects of fat transfer are much better. Longer lasting. Good diet and exercise is 10x better than all this crap anyway.
