I am struggling with the urge to sound much more professional but balance that without sounding like a corporate robot, or HR drone - I do not want to lose my down to earth persona.

Really enjoy watching your videos, not only can learn something new, but also can feel your energy. Yes, positive attitude has been mentioned so much everywhere. But it's not easy to be said in a word. I think that it's also driven in a context. Just like 1+1=2...

You bet, positive attitude is mentioned everywhere. But sometimes it's just simply not possible to turn on the mental switch and think positive. This is where a deeper, more nuanced approach is more helpful (and less frustrating!)

@@DrGraceLee, thank you so much for your reply! I am very sensitive to the voice and its changes. Maybe because you are playing instruments, I like your voice a lot so that it's one reason why I enjoy watching your videos, follow the speed and contents even though you speak faster. Also, each video is not that long but very informative so that I can watch it when I wait for the bus or subway. I am also very impressed on your vocabulary. Their combination are very localized, sounds so smooth!

I always make a bad first impression at work. Ppl just don’t like me for some reason, I don’t smile much , maybe this affect the situation. It takes me almost a year to be accepted .But after this year I become that person that everyone wants to work with… I don’t know if ppl are blind and not see what I have to offer or it’s me who is not willing to offer until I get to trust them🤔
