When I watched this video, I said to myself, why does a channel like this not get a million plus subscribers? It dawned on me that people don’t like real stuff. People want a silver bullet that literally eliminates all the work they need to put in. Dr. Lee, your content is amazing! I wish the whole world could know about you.

Dr. Lee I was able to listen to your content without the distraction, amazing and agree, I am a psychiatrist and I feel you already should be given a doctorate in psychology as well and you make an excellent talk show host. I find you inspiring, your tone of presentation is not only "cool, natural, authentic, emptompto" but at the same time compassionate/friendly/ maternal /caring and sincere and yet professerial, truly showing that you know something more than the audience that you love to give them not to show them to show off.you inspire me in so many ways, I have so much to digest now and apply the knowledge, though some of it seems the lessons I heard before, but the impact is different. thanks much

Dr Lee, this is your 2nd you tube i follow. The way what you explain makes impact. Though this video also has distracted me very much on my question: How are you you able to drive on a street, tell your complete story and eyes focussed on your camera without checking your mirrors, not looking over your shoulder and not making any accident …. ? How are you able to give attention to the traffic around you?

Wow. This is amazing stuff. I’m going to even use this for self talk to help me stray away from unhealthy habits and persuade myself to do all the things that I want to but haven’t because of fear, procrastination, excuses, etc. I think I’ll do it in writing. I’m going to watch the video again a few times and write down all these action steps so I don’t forget. I think I’m going to practice with my girlfriend. This applies for all types of relationships, work, family, etc.

HI Dr. Lee, I read your life story on your web site and knowing you were in accident age 8, and ? that is how you lost your mother; after reading that, it makes me nervous watching this video, even if you are not driving, why are you recording this in car, perhaps you are so superefficient, that a talk that makes most of us, esp. so nervous, comes so effortless and and squeezed in your daily commute, even if not driving, however it is distracting to me and wonder what is being promoted, a self driving car, your amazing skills or your content. I kept reading the comments below to see if I am the one who is that nervous, luckily found one who had the same concerns. take care, will try to listen , without worrying about a car accident.

Dr. Lee may be on a srlf-driving car. Or she may be on mid passenger seat of a van. I don't think she is driving because her eyes are focused on the camera not fleeting left or right to drive.

I think about this a lot with creators in cars. Often the images are flipped/mirrored if they are using a front-facing or rear-facing camera so it seems like they're driving when they're filming from the passenger side. (At least I hope that's the case here 🤣)

It's still manipulation. I'm not judging but call it what it is. Who is anyone to tell anyone what they need? Even if you're more knowledgeable and experienced, to insinuate you would know what's best for someone and what they're looking for at that point in time. You put too much faith into the person taking in this knowledge to not use these tactics to "manipulate" their audience's emotions. Just because you feel like your intentions are pure. persuading them for any bit of your benefit is a form of manipulation, regardless how you frame it with good/bad intentions. To be fair, this is what alot of good sales people tell themselves. While there is truth that if you truly believe in what you're selling, you can honestly help someone with your persuasion, but its hypocritical to act like you're doing this mostly in service of your customer/client/audience. Win/win sure, but rarely does anyone persuade for less than a 60/40 benefit at minimum. If you don't get more than what you put in, youre not giving them the time. Nobody persuades out the good of their heart and expects nothing in return, for the most part.
