Salvia is actually Sage not Basil. Basil is Basilia or basilicum. All these herbs are great for the gut health, I have been studying herbs since I was little, that means my entire life. Its really nice to see a doctor take interest in the natural way to heal instead of the toxic drugs with their hundreds of deadly side effects.

Why the doctors in the UK NOT PRESCRIBE GARLIC supplements instead of prescribing AMLODIPINE? I wish they prescribed spices
@Ckawauchi35 Жыл бұрын
In Japan, they are so into holistic medicine that MDs still prescribe herbs and alternatives other than drugs. They don't automatically push drugs like here in the States bc there's no incentive to do so. Medical authorities actually want their patients to get well and not see them again so their workload will be alleviated. That's the beauty of universal healthcare and not the type that is run in capitalistic America where everything is fueled by greed.

When a Doc puts his reputation "on-line" for anyone to look at, that to me, is a VERY GOOD indication because: 1. He is susceptible to FACT CHECKS & Criticism. It can go both ways (also boost reputation). Remember, whatever you uploaded stays archived FOREVER. 2. He can be peer reviewed by the Board - _AND_ his patients. But it's actually pretty easy for a good doctor... just tell the truth! 😁 True, many are doing it for the money, but if you got GOOD information out of it and don't we all have to be reminded healthy eating habits every once in awhile?! That to me is a win-win situation.

I sprinkle turmeric and black pepper on rice and any egg dish, even simple scrambled or sunny side up. It's easy to incorporate turmeric in any cooking and it will be absorbed by the body bc people automatically sprinkle black pepper on anything. I am so glad I have most of the herbs in my organic garden and I don't only use them for my dishes---I also add them fresh or dried in my daily tea--even citrus peels! I love your videos, Dr. Gundry--so informative and it makes me feel good that I am helping my husband with his journey to better health. While I don't have a history of any serious diseases in my family, he has various cancers and heart ailments, etc. so he appreciates the research and healthy food preparation I do for him.
