I've had unexplainable symptoms for two years like stomach pain and getting extreme cold sensations and chills after eating, especially acidic and spicy foods. Getting extremely cold at night was also an issue to the point where I had to make tea in the middle of the night to warm up from the inside, because nothing else helped. I would be suicidal at times because it was so unbearable. I've had a gastroscopy done three months ago and was diagnosed with an inflamed stomach. it has been coming back every couple of days for the past two years, but nobody could really figure out why. Been taking sodium butyrate 2 to 3 times a day for two weeks now and I am a totally different person. Finally happy again. I swear by this stuff. Here’s my ‘gut feeling’. I was born in 1944 after a 32 hour labour. I developed pneumonia soon after. Doctors pumped me full of antibiotics (the Wonder drugs) and kept pumping me with antibiotics at every opportunity. As a child I spent a lot of time in hospitals where I was pumped full of antibiotics. My quality or lack of quality of life suffered for 35 years until I finally found a doctor who understood and treated gut ecology. My ‘gut feeling’ tells me Dr. Gundry knows of what he speaks.

but it is not only butyrate. it is also propionate and acetate to make the L cells make more GLP-1 and PYY. if you drink water with ACV before going to bed and are a bit insulin resistant, then you will notice a lower fasting blood sugar in the morning. the reason is that ACV has 4-8% acetate in it. it boosts GLP-1 production in the L cells. that goes to the alpha cells in the pancreas and the alpha cells reduce glucagon production. and glucagon is the driver of gluconeogenesis in the liver. in people with type 2 diabetes exactly this pathway is disrupted because the L cells are not supplied enough with these SCFAs. why I know this? after 18 months of doing keto and losing 25kg and getting rid of all problems, i got some tooth infection and an ear infection and the doctors prescribed 4 packs of anti-biotics. and they did their job very well. they killed the infectious bacteria but also the good gut bacteria. i did not know that 4 years ago and my weight went up 20kg since then. now i know about that and now i try to heal the gut with probiotics that i multiply with making yogurt with them + milk +inulin. now it seems that hunger goes away and my keto/low carb diet starts to work again and my weight goes down again.

@stefanweilhartner44152 жыл бұрын
@@Shemale_Barbie from my understanding the bacteria in the gut are producing a lot of stuff like different vitamins and building blocks for hormones like 5-htp. supplementing might work. also melatonin 1 hour before going to bed might work. for people who are very tired after having covid it seems that anti-histamine drugs are also doing a good job to lower inflammation and calm down an over-reacting immune system that makes people tired. i think that gut health is a key point and taking a lot of fiber together with certain probiotics might improve the situation. making kefir or using yakult as a starter to make an own yoghurt drink can help. or NON-PASTEURIZED vinegar or buying NON-PASTEURIZED sauerkraut and not the pasteurized supermarket crap. a stool analysis might give you new inputs about your individual gut health state.

Thank you both for this fascinating video. I've known for a decade now that illness begins in the gut. I believe it 150%. I know 2 very chronicly ill people and they BOTH have horrible digestion and elimination problems, and multiple other serious illnesses too (Diabetes and fibromyalgia) and I just know that the diabetes and fibro are both an end result of the gut issue. It's the root of the problem. I just finished reading a book that goes onto explain how these illnesses are a result of loss of digestive enzymes and gut bacterias, which break down and deliver our nutrients to the areas in the body that we need to function. Loss of enzymes and strains of bacteria result in deficiencies which lead to illness. I am not a doctor, this is what i've read and understand from others. I wish more medical professionals would do research into this and stop pushing toxic pharmaceuticals on people. Let food be your medicine, God knew what He was doing when He created our incredible body. Just feed and water it properly and it will grow and thrive.

@13:08 That's not quite right. In the strictest sense, neither *butter* nor *butyrate* derive from one another. Question. I would like to stop keeping Pfizer profitable all by myself with the eliquis I'm taking for Afib. Is it possible to come off that too with Dr's guidance?
@suewells83802 жыл бұрын
I'm just guessing, that to stop the Eliquis, you might need to still take at least some natural clot-busters that a doctor suggests. Because of being diagnosed with aFib in 2017, doctor suggested one of those. I think it worked fine, but it was hard to always get from Canada in time, and I convinced him to let me try one easier to get. I was taking one in the morning and one at bedtime, but during and after co_ id last fall, I switched to 3 a day, and now it's 4, all spread out. Co_id, and also the shot can cause clotting, so the doctors have to be very careful.

You are wrong . I am not saying they don’t look at profits but they help lot of chronic patients like me . I am fortunate to buy and afford but Atleast some of us can survive . It might be expensive to create it as I heard it’s not easy to make it and that’s why you don’t see lot of ppl making it .

Dr., As possible feedback, with good Buterate conditions there seems like a inverse association with hydrogen sulfide outgassing.

If it likes to grow on meat... why not just eat meat? This seems like science is trying to circumvent nature.

Why why why does every supplement need to be a capsule? We should get our source from food, as was from the dawn of time. I prefer tinctures because I can't swallow pills or capsules. Thank you

@@halfbakedmunky5566 I’m glad it works for you but that way of eating doesn’t work for me. I swell 30 minutes after eating grains etc… I feel amazing eating animal protein and veggies … 🥦

The higher % of plant foods in your diet the better and there is no one that can dispute that with any credibility. Just eat the food that’s made by nature.

The Inuits in Alaska eat only seal and fish. They are very healthy. The Masai in Africa eat mostly dairy, and they are very healthy. I do not claim to know the best diet for health but just saying that there are no essential carbohydrates.

@@stevepenfold7167 the same way you believe your granddaddy swung from vines and ate bananas...but only in season as Dr. Gundry proposes......AND you believe anything told to you that doesn't confront your immorality...you like Dr. Grubby need to worry about your "micro-morals" more than your microbiome......Man does not live by bread alone but by every Word of God. YOU and this snake oil salesman WILL DIE!!!! PERIOD!! END OF DISCUSSION! Then what? Are you just a "bio-chemistry" experiment? Some coagulation of extremely complex chemical manufacturing facility? If that is all the philosophy you prescribe to yourself then it becomes irrelevant if your Wokey Pokey gubermint you vote for decides you are unnecessary to them anymore and just puts you on the "working makes you free" diet then bakes you in an oven.
