+Sir Timbers Great tutorial man. Loved the animations and the way you used them. I watched quite a lot of dribbling tutorials and you are the first to mention focusing on the circle below your car - that's an interesting concept. The Only critique I'd have is that like most all the other tutorials you jump the gun to fast and elaborate the basic concept of dribbling to little. It's a complex technique after all. For example - with octane as my weapon of choice I struggle to cut the ball in order to lift it up in a regular match. How should I do it with ball rolling away from me at various speeds like 10/30/50kmh. Another issue with the octane I have is the ball is jumping atop of my roof alot - whats the cause? Bad cutting/lifting? To fast? Or chance? Should I slow or drive to the side to get the situation under control? How do I manage the ball from the left side to the right on top of my car withour driving all the way from the left side of the arena to the right? Am I supposed to dribble only at minimum speed? How does higher speed dribbling look like and what options do I still have there and what am I giving up opposed to slow speed dribbling? Those are all far more interesting questions to me rather than all the various exit strategies and mindgames.

+Mark Rufmann Appreciate the critique. I'll try to go over what you said. I plan to make a video going over the various strengths and weakness of certain cars. To include that in this video would take far too long. Many of the other things you ask are already discussed in the video, for instance you say "How should I do it with ball rolling away from me at various speeds like 10/30/50kmh" This is what the "rolling the ball up the wall" part was supposed to help with. It teaches you how to control your speed and be patient. "Another issue with the octane I have is the ball is jumping atop of my roof alot - whats the cause?" This is what the aerial training portion was supposed to teach you. There is a certain spot on all cars where the ball just rests on while other parts of the car just cause it to bounce harder. "How do I manage the ball from the left side to the right on top of my car withour driving all the way from the left side of the arena to the right? Am I supposed to dribble only at minimum speed?" This is what the animation of the dominus being a "directional pad" was supposed to explain. I'll admit it could have been better, but like I said this is what helped me learn how to dribble. Moving the ball left to right shouldn't be that difficult if you can keep it on your head. You don't just start controlling the ball, you need to learn how it balance on your car at first. Higher speed dribbling vs lower speed dribbling is what is being talked about in the "mindgames/advanced dribbling" tutorial. One allows for tighter turns so you can trip up your opponents and the other allows you to just rush the ball right in. Not many players do "fast dribbling" because it can be easy to read and hard to control. If it does happen then chances you should either flick the ball or air drag (another tutorial). TL;DR These points were either already answered or will be answered in future tutorials. Appreciate the critique though!

Just a heads up to those who have just started practicing, pressing R1 to reset in the free play tutorial will be detrimental in the beginning. When you start a fresh free play session the ball is floating slightly as stated but as soon as you press R1 it lowers to the ground like a real match. The only time the ball floats are after its gone in a goal and after you start another fresh session of free play. I couldn't understand how you chipped it so easily for the life of me. *sigh of frustration* That being said, thanks for the vid!

You don't need the ball floating to pop it on your head. Try going very slow up to the ball and before you hit it, use your boost a bit. It should pop the ball high and you should be able to get under it easily.
