When you own a God damn mine, these machines are pocket change

You gotta spend money to make money. Just talking about the astronomical numbers just to run this thing imagine how much it brings in. I wonder how long it takes the “average”company that buys these machines pay them off
@Tr1KSh0TTT29 күн бұрын
Companies like these absolutely should have the cash reserve to buy as many as they like in full within reason.
@Somebody718282 күн бұрын
@@Tr1KSh0TTT the companies don't buy it with cash, they take out debt plus a little bit of down payment.

If you have the need for one of them, you don't worry about the cost. Your already loaded. You gave a gold mine 😂😂

Insane numbers are the numbers the mining company would generate having one of these If they’re keeping it operational it means that this company is absolutely stacked and on another level
@arieltamang2206Ай бұрын
thats the reason why they run almost 24/7
@Exo_Tyrannus13 сағат бұрын
It wouldn't surprise me if the ROI on these types of machines is arpund a couple months depending on the mine. Remmeber these companies are worth 10s - 100s of billions

Yeah there is a night shift and a day shift. It probably goes down for an hour or 2 each day to refuel and grease everything and clean air filters and stuff like that. Figure 11 million dollar loan at 6% for 20 years which is about the life of one of these and that's 78k a month. They don't let things that cost that much sit

I speculate that the companies who use these beasts have a rotation in play. 1 in the shop, 1 on standby, and the rest in rotation. The standby buffer comes with an enormous cost but the safety net ensures stability and productivity which is well worth the expense.

Bullshit math, who dafuq is running it for a year straight? More like 1.4-2 million if ran 8 hours a day 5 days a week a full year.
@lewishr3850Ай бұрын
I mean it only makes money when it’s working so the owners would love it to run 24/7 haha but yeah math is wrong more likely 12-16hr days 7 days a week -5% for maintenance downtime
@ledellgreen1722Ай бұрын
I'd be almost certain it's run around the clock. They have to get a great ROI. Time is money.

I work in mining in Australia, our sites operate 24/7 and these machines run constantly every day with only 12-24 hours of downtime per fortnight assuming no breakdowns.
