Driving in Eagle Mountain is terrifying. If you go the speed limit people will tailgate you, then cut you off. Police do nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyday I drive my Mom to the bus stop 8 miles is the closest bus stop, every day this happens because I don't speed. I see sheriff's posted, they do nothing! I dare a reporter to just come drive up and down pony express going the speed limit, see what happens.

It's reported all the time, look how many accidents happen in Eagle Mountain due to road rage or reckless driving, still the sheriff's sit in there cars across from the park each morning drinking coffee chatting as cars speed pass, cutting off cars obeying the laws. Yes, Utah County Sheriff's, I see you sitting there! Did you hear me honking for help as the 2 sports cars racing each other both almost hit me the other day? They had to be going more than 60 as I was going the posted speed limit of 40! There really is only one way in and out of EM from where I live and that's Pony Express, if I drive out of my way to Eagle Mountain Blvd, it's just as bad for road rage and even more dangerous being higher speed, more cars, less visibility and more congestion. It might not be so bad if we had public transportation but like I said, 8 miles to the closest bus stop that only runs early morning and then evening, to get the kids to and from the College in Lehi. Every day, as I drive the speed limit, I feel threatened, I never feel safe driving in Eagle Mountain. Im recently disabled, I only leave to take my Mom, who is also disabled, to the bus stop and to pick her up, and I am always anxious, always dreading it always scared, it's 12 minutes each way, twice a day and it still scares me.

In Washington state the prosecutors and judges just yawn when they are in charge of having citizens take accountability. The judges simply release the criminal, tell him to be sure and show up for the next court appearance, and then when the criminal doesn't show up they issue a warrant for his arrest, however no one ever follows up on the warrant and the criminal continues his criminal behavior. It's a pathetic process the judge is apparently love because they don't have to do much more.
@BoggyboytadАй бұрын
You might not like it, but when someone is accused of a crime they are innocent until proven guilty and per the US Constitution, are entitled to a bond. This happens in every state in the US. If you don't believe me you can easily find out if there's any warrants on any particular state. Most accused people do show up for court though. If you really want to complain about something, find out why Red states have a higher gun crime rate than Blue states and then try to explain how more guns will make the streets safer

To be honest cars became a necessity and people over time will hate it. Of course 50 years ago or even more it was decent but reality is population is growing and there is way more people now than before. Those city designers and traffic enginers realize the current system is outdated. 20 years ago i thought driving is fun but now I completely hate it because of other drivers. That feeling is reason why road rage happen. So imagine people who hate to going from point A to B by car. I want to not use a car at all. At least fix the public transportation and make cities walkable so I don't need to rely on the car 100% of the time. What I hate is buying grocceries because you waste like 20 mins driving there and find parking. Find the items and leave going back to parking. Also on top of that gas and adding to car mileage isn't cheap. Let me just walk there for 2 mins and buy my stuff and enjoy the surroundings and talk to other people along the way.

They also tried to say that because I couldn’t pick the gun he used out of a line up of guns that I was lying. No, sorry I’ve never been around firearms. Why would you decide that you're going to yell at a cop at a traffic stop? You just like making your life super stressful? You like probation officers and doing community service?

Do you suppose it’s due to some people moving to the spread out areas in Utah ? And they dislike the distance between their home / job/ shops / schools etc ? We have it happening here in MT too. One weird thing people do here is - they motion folks to turn or cross - when the turning person does not have the right of way - so these people wanting to be “ nice “ stop all The traffic ! It’s so weird ! 😊
@Chet73Ай бұрын
@@sunnyday7843 I don’t think it’s the distance that’s the problem. I think people lose patience with other drivers and their perceived lack of awareness while driving.

How about a newer law that if you threaten anyone with a gun like this guy did, for a stupid reason like this guy did, then you lose your gun license for five years or forever? Crazy guys like this one who pulled a gun on this kid are the guys who shouldn’t be carrying guns.

Another “good guy with a gun” just simply having a bad moment by losing their temper using their gun that they say “we need guns to protect my family” as their “tool” for intimidation. Please take his guns away also. And why are these road rage stories always in Utah county? Mormons with guns. SMH.
