Break this down. 1. LEO activates lights behind you. 2. Pull to the right shoulder or safely off the road as soon as you can, like a gas station. 3. Wait in your car until officer contacts you and gets your license. 4. Then officer can inform you of the reason for the stop. This is how it works. Realistically drivers shouldn’t be penalized for wishing to pull over in a well lit public area but that doesn’t give them any right to flea. If they express this before driving the speed limit calmly with hazard lights on it shouldn’t be an issue. Most are too damn stupid to comply with simple commands, run, resist, fight, jump out of the car in a fighting stance, or otherwise make themselves a threat. I have been driving for 45 years and have never had a negative encounter with the police. The few times I have been pulled over, I was polite, complied exactly with the officer's instruction, put my hands on the wheel, and shut my mouth unless asked a question. I also promptly handed the officer my license, registration, and insurance. did not have an attitude, nor did I try to deny any wrongdoing or argue with the officer. In fact, when I got pulled over for doing 70mph in a 45mph construction zone, which was my fault for not paying attention to the road signs, I did not lie, admitted I had my head up my ass, and expected a ticket. But guess what? The officer thanked me for being cooperative and honest, and I got a brief ass chewing, then sent on my way.

Yeah the problem with this police force is they are incredibly reckless, they will perform that maneuver even at incredibly dangerous speeds, they know the vehicle is very likely to roll over at those speeds, now I don't condone running from the police by any means, this police force does NOT take into consideration that there may be innocent passengers including children or babies in that vehicle, they don't always know, and ita incredibly irresponsible to attempt such a dangerous move when they don't know 100% if there are children in that vehicle, and it basically comes to down their massive cop egos, you're not gonna run from me in my town, type of deal, It wouldn't surprise me in the least if this police force was drowning in law suits, again I don't condone running from police, but a PIT maneuver is not always the only option, alot of this has to do with egos like I said.
