(Site of) Kilmany. Sounds like the place to visit during the spooky season. Joking aside, this was wonderfully picturesque.

Half asleep in my comfy chair, I see an odd notification. Why should I care about a sale on triangles? Ten minutes later I wake up and read it again. Oh. Not what I first thought.😴

Hmmmmm, the triangles are going cheap though.... 👍 😀😀

You never know when you'll need some triangles. I always stock up on them when on sale. 😆

I see a set of tracks on the right at 3:05 at the Sale Industrial Siding, but how does it join up to the main line? Is there a connection?
@emdB6721 күн бұрын
Disconnected from the mainline quite some years ago. Rarely used for its intended purpose from what I can tell. I only saw a train on it once - and not for any local industry. Back in July 1998, a drought relief train consisting of grain hoppers (a rare sight in Gippsland) hauled by X31 went into the loop there. X 31 was detached and went back light engine. Upon reaching Traralgon, RTL 1 (then orange) was used to haul the grain hoppers from the industrial siding (Wurruk) into Sale and shunt them into the goods sidings there for unloading in front of TV news cameras.

@@diracflux as stated, the sidings have been out of use for a number of years. 👍😀
