This is to show my feelings on driving a #2021 #ford #bronco cross country, and what problems we discovered along the way. Link to my Amazon page www.amazon.com/shop/bevinsbricks I do make a small commision on sales from these links.

Thanks. I’m getting my bronco delivered in columbus Ohio in late January and driving back home to Ca. There was a plan but the delay changed a few. Any I’m driving it over 8 days so not long days.

17 mpg is nothing to write about but that is not that bad . I just bought F150 Powerboost if you drive it close to speed limits and avoid rapid accelerations then 20 to 25 mpg isn’t uncommon . I am thrilled !

We just took our Broncos from Michigan to California. Only one of the Broncos had the Lux package. Highly recommend adaptive cruise control

That is a great option yes :) I love this thing so far. Just hoping my electrical issues get resolved.

More important to understand is that lower level lane keeping is simply not good enough. Either go base with 360 or Lux with adaptive cruise and lane centering. Don’t bother getting mid package it is a waste. For road trips back row center armrest is desired for cup holder (high tiers only)

Took mine on an 800 mile round trip. Drove through a blizzard and it handled well in the snow! Like REALLY well. But I also got a rock chip in my windshield from a semi. Insurance fixed it for free. I agree that the seats are super comfortable for road tripping. I love my Bronco it’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned, had it for four weeks.

The windshields are magnets for rocks with that angle.. I wish Ford would follow Jeep and use the "Gorilla glass" option.

Electrical issues that early on is not a good sign. Hope it is something that is quickly repairable.

Some road noise that sounds like a hurricane in their going down the expressway

I’ve had my 2021 Badlands for just under 3 months and have just shy of 11,000 kilometres or 6850 miles. In all weather including 2 ft of un plowed snow in the mountains. Biggest gripe, rear doors freezing up from road snot, and the headlights icing over cause LEDs don’t throw heat. And the bloody sensors that park assist gumming up with freezing snot chirping warnings at me non stop while driving 🤬

press the button to the right of the auto start stop button and it will disable the parking sensors. its there so it doesnt drive you crazy offroading.

It does handle amazing in the snow, I totally forgot to mention the headlights freezing over as you said also.

First model year vehicles almost always have more issues than second and third year, also probably getting bad mpg because it’s a big 4door with small 4cyl

What engine size and what tire size for that MPG. Thanks for posting.
@BevinsBuilds3 жыл бұрын
I have the 2.3. Bronco is still at the dealer so I cant look at it atm for the tire size.

Guess I will not be buying a Bronco… amazing to me that a brand new vehicle under 5000 miles is already having electrical problems. I’m not sure how you avoid the ice build up- but there should never be that many electrical issues this early in a vehicle’s life. I have 150k on my Honda and it’s never had any non regular maintenance issues. Ford has some QA issues to work out

My windows on my bronco 2023 keep going up and down by themselves. My brake light is also on. It also was completely dead. Dealer said they fixed the issue but issues continue. Smh

17MPG is horrible for 2022.

That mileage is not bad when one considers the gearing. . most do not think about gearing. There is give and take. There will be some electrical issues with any vehicle new or not. Get over it. Sick and tired of people being dramatic on KZbin. It should be perfect... Most are.... Get it fixed and enjoy the Bronco
