The same rules should apply for supermarket as well because a lot of people cue up at the till with their trolleys and then don't leave a space for other people to get through to another part of the store and if you say anything to them Then you're in the wrong so supermarket bosses should put little yellow box junctions at each till so people will then leaves a space for other people to get through with there trolley or without a trolley It's just common sense to me .

So to summarise, you cant enter a box junction unless your exit point is clear. The only time you enter is if you're going right and your exit is clear. If not, then you don't go inside it? What about on roundabouts with these box junctions when there is heavy traffic?

What if I'm turning right and there's no oncoming traffic, but the traffic light on the right is red.. should I complete my turn and proceed in the red light? So as I'm not left stranded in the yellow box? Any reply would be helpful

Yes you MUST go. Once you're in the middle then you wait for a safe gap not for traffic light. One the safe gap is there, you go even if it is red. Hope this helps!

I failed my car test 3rd time today😢 just one serious on the roundabout my whole concentration was choosing the right lane and exit so I ended up stopping on the yellow box it was rush hour..it was only my back tires on the yellow box and the examiner asked me if I can move forward little bit we are on yellow box😭 I am feeling so hopeless and like a failure😭

Avoid at all costs especially now because I understand the theory but now motorists can be held accountable for the driving of others’. Motorists can now not dispute these fines. I used to work above a yellow box junction and I have never seen as much bad driving and often you could see motorists stuck in the box after beeping or other bad behaviour. We would watch motorists waiting for a clear exit only to be overtaken by impatient drivers. Very much like smart motorways they just don’t work. What was once an embarrassment will now cost you a fine. London and Cardiff box junction fines in one year topped 30 million source RAC.
