Love the message, but the ended up leaving the facebook page they had years ago when I was banned for 24 hours for the apparently offensice comment of "I understand this is a fasting page, but I thought the person's question was reasonable and the moderator response was harsh". Someone had asked for a suggestion for something to pack for her husband's lunch when he breaks his fast. The moderator jumped in and very nastily scolded her for asking about food as that was "inappropriate" and "will not be tolerated". It is so frustrating that they were so unkind to a community that needs good support.

@elizabethdavis3417 - Then this is the video for you! Cut out the carbs. Go Keto or if you have the nerve, go Carnivore, the BBB & E intro phase. All you eat are Beef (any kind), Bacon, Butter as your cooking oil & Eggs. It's easy-peasy because there's nothing to think about in terms of meals. If you normally eat 3 meals a day, start off doing that. Eat until you are satiated at every mean, don't worry about how many burgers or slices of bacon you had, or how many calories you consumed. Just eat until you're full, then don't eat again until you are actually hungry, meaning your tummy is growling. After a couple of weeks, you'll notice that you aren't hungry when you wake up in the morning. And after breakfast, you don't get hungry again until close to dinnertime. These are the normal changes your metabolism undergoes when you stop feeding your body sugar (carbs), which have basically no nutritional value & only eat protein & fat, which are highly nutritious. You'll notice other positive changes in your body too. Intermittent Fasting is nothing more than limiting your food consumption to specific hours & fasting the rest of the time. I went mostly Carnivore (85%) in 2017 & have been using IF off & on for a year or so. Dr. Fung has a beginners guide video for Intermittent Fasting. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKK9pIZmaMmfhs0&ab_channel=JasonFung Check out his library, he has videos that will address all your questions.

I spontaneously do I.F. and it's easy especially now that I am on vacation and decided to do a week on keto. I have an important question to which nobody better than you can answer so please do it 🙏 I'm eating around 30 gr on net carbs, around 120 gr of proteins and more or less the same grams of fats. I'm 52 kg and I have noticed that I go pee so often... Last night I woke up 6 or 7 times to pee and I am afraid it's due to the excess of proteins and the hard job my kidneys have been doing the last few days. Is it dangerous? I feel great in ketosis (I didn't test it but I believe I am with 30 gr of carbs a day) but I am worried for my kidneys.... However, next week I will be back on my low carb usual diet. P.S. I don't have to loose weight so I eat according to my hunger and this is why I have so much protein Thanks

Some Buddhist monks here do 18:6 fasting as a lifestyle. The Buddha advised so for Buddhist monks more than 25000 years ago. I practise intermittent fasting (18:6) as a lifestyle. I started it 19 months ago. I practised (23:1) throughout 30 day period. My BMI is 19.04 now. I am 58+. Now I do 18:6, six days per week and 23:1 fasting one day per week. No issues. Am I safe?
