YOU DO NOT! need to eat 1200 calories to lose weight! Check out the most recent upload on how to calculate your maintenance calories. I start off my just subtracting 100 calories from maintenance to be in a deficit. Any more than that, I have significant hunger ques and then I start binging. Remember that consistency is key.
I focus on protein and fiber, and the rest can be divided amongst carbs and fats.
