I didn't really get from this what to do if hair loss is caused by menopause. I'm on BHRT and thought it was supposed to help with this issue but the article you showed said it could cause it, so it's a catch 22. I take biotin, collagen, Vits D & K. Doesn't seem to help.

I was fortunate enough that I live in North Maui where it has rainfalls. I built a water catchment with ultraviolet light and filter systems. I got my drinking water from there. Every six months, I treated it with 1/2 gallons of 35% food grade H2O2 in my 15000 gallons tank. My tank has double covers to prevent any growth inside and the water passed through the filters and UV light. I use high quality stainless steel containers or water jugs. I also use high quality food grade silicone bag to storage or freeze my foods. It’s impossible to eliminate all plastic because majority of things come packing in plastic. I paid extra for foods that come in glasses. I tried to minimize the plastic as much as I can. 😊

we eat very clean, fresh veggies from our garden, got rid of all of our plastic in the kitchen, don't use microwave, use essential oils for healing, but still hanging onto bely fat and hair loss...:(

About birth control Meds, that’s 100% true, Birth Control nearly made me bald and also gave me lots of headache, when I decided not to take them no more, my constant headache went away and my hair started to grow. So I do believe that Birth control not only makes you gain, but also affects your immune system badly.

You’re so kind to provide so much info. I was just about to ask my GP for thyroid rx. I’m taking many very good supplements already. Still, so weak.🤦‍♀️ I’ve been eating fairly clean, and no sugar/flour, but wondering, if anyone knows his work…chime in plz. Dairy is good for me based on my blood type. If I join this local “herd” and get all organic products, will that stop the damage dairy causes, based on what he said, 2/3rds in? There’s so much I have changed but just scratched the surface. It’s like returning to college with a 64 year old brain and everyone upstream died from Alzheimer’s.

Hey Doc, thinking in terns of plastics. How do you get your drinking water? I'd like to stop buying bottled water but there's no way I'm going to drink tap water so what filtration would you recommend? Sad that our country doesn't focus on meaningful change to help it's citizens be healthy instead of chained to illness. Why wouldn't you just make laws that say, if it isn't original, real food it's illegal to produce it?! I mean it's that simple really. Of course I know the answer is about the almighty dollar. You can't freeze glass.

Glass can be frozen. "Head Space" must be given for the expansion of the food as it freezes. You can use Mason jars( also used for canning foods) be sure the temp of the food is cooled, if packed while hot/ warm, before putting the lid on. I put mine in the frig for 24 hrs b4 putting in the freezer. You can look this process up on the web to get more details.
