Dammit I love the Advanced Powers mod. Me and a friend played a game with it, and he... didn't take it well. He played the US and did nothing but spam reserve riflemen, while I cheesed the hell out of him with nazi fencers, the droid army and the BS infinite range flakturms. Eventually I rushed a mega tank into his base and he just gave up. This mod takes the Modern Warfare 2 approach to balancing. If everything is broken, nothing is. I think it works terribly, but it's good memes so who cares?

This mod takes inspirations from the Wolfenstein world a lot and is basically the Red Alert of Company of Heroes. My favorite thing is how in terms of balance, it's actually not _that_ broken. The Allied factions gain manpower and munitions faster than the Axis and they also get their abilities faster and cheaper. What more with the Specializations changing prices for certain troops, that can really overwhelm the Axis if done well. The Axis on the other hand is mostly about overwhelming firepower at the cost of price, time, and manpower. Also this mod is really best played with Annihilation; really invokes the old Red Alert/Generals days of just mayhem and absurdity.

theres an unfinished mod called the unbalanced mod, that allows panzergrenadiers to punch tanks to death, t-34's are super cheap and quick to produce, but die in one shot, ousttruppen squads and conscript squads are 10 men each. its unfinished because only a few units in the base factions are actually modified, pretty much everything else is standard sadly

The Wunder Luftwaffe is arguably the hardest tech tree of Advanced Powers, the resource income is so low but you need A LOT of it for the upgrades and abilities. Try using the Projekt phoenix next Valefisk and steamroll the entire game once Zombie Knightcross deployed!

the advanced powers is a fun mod, but you have to know its quirks OKW Chem: make 2 chemvolks, make at least 1 chem sturmpioneer. Tech to med, chem fusilier, medic/medic upgrade, make raketenwerfer, either go for hetzer or puma depending on your needs, and go for schwerer and make panther or stug depending on your needs. be flexible, if late med timing make raketen before med or if facing against sov tank rush. Fit in a chem mortar if possible. I am not the best at chem, but that build order should work reasonably well and just make a extra squad of whatever depending on your needs. Wunder: make mg before selecting doctrine, make 2-3 volks then tech to med. make a squad of elite inf in medhq(whichever fits better), make raketen, doesn't matter what you do from there but get a luft-panther quickly. Zombie: This one is easy, make a few shamblers, hide behind line of sight blockers and eat some squads. Tech to med, make flame zombie, assault positions with shamblers and flames behind. Tech to mechanized, make zombie obers, be aggressive, make schwerer, get knights cross holders, be aggressive, make zombie king tiger. fit in a raketen if your being abused by light vehicles but zombies is easily strongest/second strongest axis doctrine, shamblers DONT UPGRADE WITH OLD WEAPONS that removes the close range bite damage which is the whole important thing about shamblers, they shred at "bite" range. Remember zombie obersoldaten grenade detracks vehicals. the short summary is play the early game after you've got med but before schwerer like your playing revo, shield your flame zombies(which do most dps by auto throwing flames and flames do the damage) with shamblers, and when obers come out just flank and assault really aggressively obers have stupid health. That is basically a short summary of build order(ish) for oberkommando for advanced powers. Important to note wunder-waffe is deceiving, it is absolutely weakest okw doctrine due to how chem can make a stupid amount of gas coverage(denying any infantry playing) and later they get acid which crits vehicals a ton, and zombies is just strong(easy economy due to gain resource on death and on kills and optimally shamblers should be taking the damage and they are cheap to reinforce) important to note is fausts stun. so spam panzerfaust. also if soviets go tank rush you just have to make a raketen early because otherwise tt70 does tt70 stuff. And if you lose map control against soviet tank rush you are fucked since is-4 is very strong and your main option to counter it is a panther(and since you lost map control you dont have a panther) if against revolution, make a light tank. They have weaker anti tank and they really have anti infantry or specialized civilian saboteurs, which can only throw a type of grenade(at vs grenade+molo) if against shock army, they are mainly infantry but they have strong infantry so just defend(just defend well is literally the best way, shock army doesn't get anything too exceptional they are just stronger than vanilla infantry and a lot of different infantry) if against tank rush expect near instant tt70 if they are competent, expect a very fast t34, expect is-4. just be prepared for the near instant light tank, medium that arrives much earlier than yours, and a heavy tank that also arrives much earlier than yours. although their tanks are weaker than axis equivalents(tt70 doesn't have a equivalent, t34 loses to panzer 4, is4 loses to panther)
