This reminded me when a horse stable with a large covered riding area had a pigeon problem who ended up spooking horses and/or new riders in training. It became a safety thing to clear the pigeons out. A multi-pump Daisy 880 with $20 Tasco RF 3-7x20mm, Beeman Hollowpoints, and $1 LED flashlight wrapped to the barrel seemed the easiest way to take care of things at night. I knew from clearing house sparrows (invasive species that will attack and kill bluebirds in their houses) that I could reliably hit a 1 inch target at 10 yards. Pigeons needed hit just above the collar bone to drop. I would do recon during the day and come back at night for the operation. Multi-pumps would help me choose the power level needed and avoid damage to the structure of the building. I later used a Crosman M4-177 for less time and effort to load the next shot, but you never want anyone else to see you carry that around on any property.

Nice, GREAT Video ! The first part, well seems that a lot of people never learned or just can't get it. I wish I could remember the name of the teacher that made us have fake jobs and income with bills that we had to pay from a fake checking account every month for only six months. But what I learned in eight grade was better for my adult life than the rest of public school for me. Yeah, all before video games where invented, But that is not why people have issues with there spending vs income. The business part of the video is also very good and sound. Thank you ! ! !

This video helped me to do something about my business finances, and although my business isn’t air gunning or pest control, I still found this useful. I live in the UK so we are taxed differently than the US, however tax is still there and comes around regularly. I currently have the worst accountant, one of those types of accountants that sits behind a desk with a fat cigar whilst I drive around in a beaten up old van kind of accountants! EVERYONE SHOULD PAY TAX, to help the world go round, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be entitled to tax benefits. My accountants doesn’t tell me about these benefits, radio silent… and just sends me a bill, so my first step towards a successful business is to get a new accountant, one that works for me and not the tax office. My business is property maintenance and repairs. Oh yeh, I also have the FX Maverick Airgun and it’s paid for.
@drsrussandpaula3 жыл бұрын
cf foto chrislewis.... Good to hear from you Chrislewis.... UK is similar but not the exact same as the USA in taxes ... but this piece of info probably is good for both countries... A tax payer went all the way up to our Supreme Court and won ... with the court saying that every American should look for every possible tax deduction or loop hole in the tax code before submitting their tax return. When you get the opportunity, look over your tax return and read out loud all of the lines that were left blank .... you might find a deduction or two that was missed... Dr. Russ

@drsrussandpaula3 жыл бұрын
Kansas Air Hunters..... you are correct that taking off the QE barrel is better than clipping pellets. At the same time, having a suppressor and a QE barrel that doesn't clip pellets is a great combo effort in keep noise down and different than the regular noise of an air gun. DonnyFl has said the same thing ... and that is why he suggests one size larger than normal to prevent that problem... I have about 8 air guns now with suppressors and no clipping problem... Dr.Russ

Absolutely a great video! Who knew you would find financial advise on an AirGun Channel? I would guess that over 50% of people have no idea of how to manage their money. They don't teach it in school and parents don't either. Our country isn't fiscally responsible, so people don't think they have to be either. Also there is the entitlement attitude and I have to have it now idea. Retired now, and would love to start a "pesting business". Gotta get those flyers printed up and handed out.
