Good to see a group of young men highly criticized for their efforts....not resting on their laurels during a pandemic...sitting around getting fat and spending money like 98% of the rest of the population did. They used their off time wisely....and all improved. I'm sorry....I have to disagree with ya....Zep never had any album with a plethera of songs on it that sound as rock mainstream as the new GVF album does. That may not sit well with the old classic rock bangers....but its good enough for my 70's rock era ears....and its bringing my generation together with my 25 year old sons generation. That is far more exciting to me than dropping a hit of acid and listening to Black Dog over and over in my 77 chevette on a sparkomatic tape deck. Just sayin.

The Zep thing doesn't work. These kids are writing better than Led Zeppelin. Also, Robert Plant never had half the range that Josh has. Every band throughout history has "ripped off" as you call it, musicians before them. GVF is growing musically with every release. To say they're doing so because of criticism from talentless people is to say they somehow acquired talent they lacked by what, fear? The whole "my generations shit was better." is rubbish.

I'm tired of people saying these kids ripped off Led Zeppelin! Why? Because Zeppelin ripped off EVERYBODY! Hell, they've lost lawsuits from those they've copied. I love Led Zeppelin and they're in my top 5 bands for sure (best hard rock band of all-time) but this argument is horseshit! These guys rock, are masters of their instruments, and can write good songs. They were influenced by MANY of the '60's and '70's bands and of course they're going to be playing the same type of music. Josh's voice is the best in music right now and NOBODY compares. Give them a goddamn break! Why? Because the rest of the music on the radio today sucks.

I too have evolved. I evolved listening to the reactions of all of you who look for similarities in every new GVF songs with Led Zeppelin, Queen, Axel Rose, John Bonham.., We are lucky to live in an era where we were given to grow up with some of the best bands. Most of the bands that exist and have existed wanted to reach a level, a level set by the biggest bands. And GVF came. And you reactors, who are supposed to have some knowledge more than us ordinary listeners, struggle with which band the GVF song is similar to. I realized I don't need your opinions. GVF are not Queen, they are not Led Zeppelin.., GVF are Greta Van Fleet and I wish I could see them live someday. They are one of the few who do classic old rock. And this is also the reason that they remind of old classic rock bands.., they remind.. of how the good old bands used to sound very similar. And that's why they go in my folder next to former big bands. Reactor, because I'm afraid you don't understand, let me direct you: When the new great voice of classical singing emerges, it will resemble Pavarotti. Will this be bad for the music? Greta Van Fleet: Thank you

Ok, first of all there are definitely more younger Rock bands than the Foo Fighters out there who are also 50 to 60 years old now. Halestorm, Starcrawler, Dorothy, Adam and the Metal Hawks (AMH-Band), Stonewall Noise Orchestra, Them Elvis, Nothing More, Daily Thompson, The Baboon Show, Kadavar, Dead Lord, Rival Sons, The Struts (more like Queen rocky), Dirty Honey, Bloody Heels (more on the hair metal side), Dead Heavens, Gov't Mule... People just need to go to their concerts. Otherwise there will never be a monster Rock band in the future. 😏 And secondly I didn't get if he likes the drummer now or not or what. Too much talking about the singer and his mustache etc.

If you thought Jay Wrinburg was a "bad, bad boy," you need to check out the drummer from Slaughter to Prevail: Evgeny Novikov. They just dropped a drum playthrough for their most recent single Baba Yaga. They are a deathcore band (from Russia, no less), so he does do more gravity blasts than you would probably prefer, but the dude's kicks are unmatched, in my honest opinion.

Hey Steve!! 🤔.... Do YOU need some treatment that is good for you..., and could be considered, "Sound Treatment!!" OR, is it your house, has unfigured out complexities and 🤔 needs some "sound treatment!?!?" OK.... before all of Steve's subs jump me.... I JUST KIDDING!!!🤣 I am a bit on the fence here Steve. I have always been a supportive voice for G.VF. and that is not to say that I have gone G.VF. crazy, but no matter what professional musician does to be a "separate entity," we ALL have our influences and musical heros, even the boys in L.Z. had theirs!! That sometimes makes it hard to be an individual and original musician or band. Seriously, music is always evolving, but music originality is getting harder and harder to be found w/o being "pigeon holed" into a music genre of some sort, and accused of sounding just like....(insert favorite sounds like band here,______!!) However, having said that, this is a slightly different sounding G.VF., but they still sound "Zeppish" if you ask me! And I will absolutely agree with you about Josh sounding like Jon Anderson... "Yes..." I am on board with that, although Josh needs to lose that "Porn star" mustache 🤣! And like you, I was holding my breath while waiting for Danny to run across those Roto toms, unfortunately it never came to fruition, and that is kind of a bummer😒 !! Here's the thing, accuse any band about anything, but the bottom line is, they are out there doing it, living the dream so to speak and making their wallets fatter and fatter, I find no fault in that, NONE, we all have bills to pay, and who doesn't want a job where getting paid as a musician, is like comparing two young kids of playing "road construction workers" and using their "Tonka trucks" while digging up their grandparents garden (when time for that comes) and getting paid in lollipops!!! I still believe you have a completely fair review and I’m in no way upset or have anything negative to say about it. Would you maybe consider doing the song, The Barbarians? It’s drum work is much more intricate. The latter part of the song is almost entirely carried by the drums in it.
