I gained a new respect for them when I saw them open the show at Mtv's Icon Metallica.. Hearing these guys cover old school Metallica was amazing

Was incredibly lucky to see them perform with Mike Shinoda a few years ago and they did a couple Linkin Park songs which was incredible with Deryck doing Chester's parts (RIP) Was awesome! As you can probably tell bro, im just catching up on everything after a busy few weeks work! Haha

After 14 years of waiting, I finally saw them at Download Festival this year. Was a little emotional for sure 😅

Old-school metalhead and punk fan here - so theoretical Sum 41 fan is included ^^ I always get these "american-Highschool-punk-Rock-Rebel" Vibes

Amazing song, badass solo by Brown Sound, the dual harmonic solos by Tom/Dave always a pleasure to hear and the stage looks so sick. Very sad they are breaking up. BTW, I love the new album. It's a great mix of Sum 41 styles. Hard to pick one song from their illustrious career.

I’m pretty sure the original drummer just decided touring and everything was too much and he wanted to be home more. As far as I know he’s still on good terms with the band and the decision to leave was just the fact he was burned out from the constant travel.

He now has a youtube channel where he tells fun and heartfelt stories about his time with the band. Based on how he goes about it, they definitely seem to be on good terms.
