@@Willy_Tepes That too. It's harder to make a Flintlock than a gas operated gun. The gas operating a piston requires no special timing but a flintlock requires precision timing so the flint strikes the frizen at a specific time and angle to shoot a strong spark into the flash pan. I have built percussion and matchlock guns. I plan to make a Flintlock after my next metal project is done (a langes messer with honsanmai lamination). Forging the barrel is going to be interesting.The bayonet should be easy though.
@Willy_Tepes4 жыл бұрын
@@indoorsandout3022 Making a gun is no worse than making any other type of mechanical device. I made a 1650's wheellock pistol some years ago and am finishing a 16 round 9mm pistol of my own design at the moment (totally from scratch except the barrel and magazine). I made my first gun (9mm derringer) in wood working class when I was 14. Submachine guns are by far the easiest to make after single shot weapons. OutOfSight OutOfMind No, you really can’t. You have to be an experienced and trained gunsmith to turn a semiautomatic firearm into an automatic firearm.
@Treddian4 жыл бұрын
@@jacob5208 It doesn't take a gunsmith to machine parts when you have a print and model. It only takes some machining experience, which isn't too exotic of a skill.
@jacob52084 жыл бұрын
Treddian Some machining experience? What exactly do you think needs to be done? You can’t just 3D print an ‘automatic mode’ button and slap it on the firearm

Heard joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a bomb shelter where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. Great comedian Andrew Rivers is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor...I am Andrew Rivers.”

If a guy wants to meet girls, I highly recommend getting a small, cute dog and taking it to some public place. I used to work at a bookstore, and this guy came in one day with a cute puppy. Within minutes, every woman in the store was gathered around him, petting and admiring his dog. He probably could have started collecting phone numbers, but he also had his wife with him. Actually, I think the dog was hers, and he was just holding it while she was picking out books. Still, he definitely got attention. He may have been wondering why he never thought of this before, unless I'm wrong, and this puppy is the way he got his wife. P.S. Andrew, get a library card!

Or a cute cat, although you most likely ended up only with a bunch of numbers from crazy cat ladies. 😅

Great act! Love original humor about the relatable. Imo great comics don't need to rely on crudeness to get a laugh. Hope to see more of Andrew Rivers! The stage design is always great; really love this one - so pretty. Thanks to all involved for entertaining us and working during high risk times. (

@@ollilehtonen6764 yes but the thing is, when you say automatic, 60% of people think of a belt fed machine gun and therefore think that you can just go to a gun store and buy one.
@ollilehtonen67644 жыл бұрын
@@jonahpatton8879 Yeah and that's because they are ignorant on the subject matter. There ain't many people outside of gun communities who have any clue of the terminology around guns. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean you can't educate yourself on the matter. Who knows, maybe you won't be so scared of them after learning about them.
