I really like the lines of that tailpiece - it blends really well with the tank. The addition of the cutouts has the effect of removing kilos from the whole tail; it's gone from, what appeared to be, a solid block to a much lighter and airier silhouette. Do you plan to fit some mesh or gauze into those cutouts? I can imagine that the seat pad will link the whole tank/tail design together. Really looking forward to the next instalment. Keep up the good work!

Thanks. Yeah those holes do break it up. Same with the fairing. And yeah I’ll add either mesh behind or 3D printed pattern.

Really really nice job, i follow you also on Instagram. The fact you start to zero of the shape, and now you have this result on the tail... Awesome! Sorry for my bad english, im try to write by myself, not with translate 😂👍🏼 Greetings from south Italy!

Loving the videos, learning a lot and getting ideas on how to improve my XSR900 :) On the production side of things: Would however suggest you buy some sort of microphone to clip onto your shirt, or one of those necklace microphones. I think it would up the production quality a tad and make it match the quality of your bike projects. :)

Glad you like them, I do have a Rode directional mic but it just took up too much of my time to set it up as to film these takes enough time as it is, so I cave up with it.

Won't you have problems with the two holes in getting the part out of the mold?
@forthebold4 жыл бұрын
No it’s a split mould with the split going down the middle. Pulling apart from each side.
