Not at all, tried it when the bike was new in March 2021. Bought a Zumo in May together with a Givi mount and Touratech lock.

im a huge Ducati guy. I own many of them, but they really need to listen to there customers and ship support for CarPlay and Android, like Honda does

Absolutely agreed. Ducati heavily relies on Bosch for their cutting edge electronics, and it appears to be a Bosch issue for not supporting background phone integration, hopefully that's just a firmware update away...

I like having the Sygic screen there when I’m riding, but I used the powered wire to feed a Garmin Zumo mounted on the handlebars. Sygic isn’t ready for prime time.

I really wasn't happy with the sygic navigation algorithms or the distance visible in the horizontal screen. It had some useful features, but overall left me disappointed

Went with Tom Tom rider and iconic parts mount that fits superbly above the windshield handle and wired into the nav wire.

I thought the Ducati Connect & Sygic complaints on YT were overblown, until it crashed a couple of times, or I had to pull over & get my phone out to reset, plus I want me tach/gear/ride normal full display when riding. Like the idea of Ram, but I already bought the Ducati handlebar bag, which is great, so mounting is an issue & my phone tends to overheat in summer direct sun. Just got a Beeline Nav for $200, super simple little puck, works well, but no audio & u have to pay attention
@4KMotoring2 жыл бұрын
I saw the beeline on a couple friend's bikes, but I just didn't think it was for me. I like that Google maps gives lane guidance for upcoming exits and seeing the road ahead of me. Cool product, just doesn't do all I need
@JackieTreehoorn2 жыл бұрын
@@4KMotoring yep, I use Google Maps Apple CarPlay in my Tahoe & love it. Have never really used my GPS on past bikes that have it so only need simple guidance. Beeline is cool, but certainly not gonna give you what Google Maps or Garmin does

But your phone isn’t rain proof. That’s why I prefer separate GoS devices.
@4KMotoring Жыл бұрын
Most modern phones carry IP68 ratings making them fully splash proof. Rain is absolutely no problem for anything but the cheapest phones anymore

Insane not to use Android auto or Apple Cap play. They screwed this up.

I hear it's an issue with the Bosch unit they are using. But I agree

It is C.R.A.P.! When you get called during your ride and your phone switches to the call you lose Ducati Connect and your nav stops working. Then you gotta stop and swap your phone back to Ducati Connect. Just horrible service for a 27000€ bike.

Sygic is garbage and so is the Ducati user interface.

The absolute best thing I can say about it is that Ducati has continued their updates to make it at least somewhat consistent, but still nothing close to competitive
