I got a cabelas gs 100 for my dog, he doesn't like beep he runs and goes and lays down. The previous people who had him said he was conditioned, and use to it. I tried conditioning him like you did here but nope, I turned it to 1 to see if that would change his mood when we went outside to try learning sit he yelped and jumped. I took it off held it in my hand, and it wasn't much of a shock. It was on right as well, he's a 2 year old mix breed puggle. He has beagle, pug and possibly Rottweiler in him. He's slightly smaller than your lab here. Not sure if he's just being dramatic because he doesn't like it or what.

Training collars are amazing. When I put it on my dog he turns into a completely new dog. On those slow days he will get bored really easily so he’ll start walking/running around but when he has his collar on he won’t do that. He’ll just sit there and wait for us to kill a duck. Started using it when he turned 2 and he’s 7 now so I don’t even have to shock him anymore I’ll just hit the beeper button and he’ll do what I ask him

My dog does the same thing. I trained him with the collar and he goes from a goof off to serious business when that collar is on him. He’s 7 and I don’t even remember to charge the collar on most our hunts due to never actually using it.

Maybe my spaniels are more sensitive than labs, but they definitely have a much higher sensitivity to the collar when wet.

Dogs are man's best friend but not when you do this to them Remember getting a duck dog isn't the same as a regular house dog

They don’t hurt. Even the highest level. I found one and tested it out. Just wanting to know it feels. It’s like the shock they use at the rehab for your back. At rehab it can be set much higher. Or like the shock things that shack adventures for the back. The icee’ hot product. The highest setting on the collar doesn’t even come close to hurting but it will wake you up.
