At first we have to digging a pit! It is our first step! Digging a hole in clay soil is impossible without a shovel and a pickaxe! After that our mission is to install construction frame for walls and roof!
bushcraft SHELTER build is unique project!

I'm impressed by your skills and with minimal tools. What kind of sealant are you putting on the trees? I'm enjoying your journey. 💕

I'm no engineer but this looks to me to be a DEATH TRAP? THE Support beams are BARELY IN THE GROUND 200mls deep? then the roof beams aren't properly notched onto support beams. I haven't seen any further if the side walls are supported any better but going by what I've seen already I don't feel it meets ANY safety standards at all. Without proper wall bracing if a heavy downpour happens he'll be sitting in a muddy well in danger of the 4 walls & logs collapsing onto him?. Even the way he de-barked the logs was dangerously close to femur arteries & one slip out there with no help. He'll be dead before he gets 2min up the blooming road. That's if he can stay conscience long enough to tie something round his thigh & stem the bleed?

Always make it around 2 feet bigger (on all 4 sides) than what you originally planned because the walls are going to take up around 2 feet. This way the walls won't be taking up so much space and your living area will be exactly the size you wanted in the beginning. 🪜🪚🪵🪓🪟🚪⛏🪨🔨🗡🏕🌲🧻🔥⛺🔦✏📐
