Nuevo Mexxico channel Garcia humans are 100% African, 99.9% identical, from one African family tree. If you're native like that, then you're of direct African descent with some ancient denisovan (Hispanic African) mixing and maybe some mixing with the younger neanderthal (Asian African) bloodlines- either way you're of the Tribes 💪 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmScXoCaeLFjf6c

L BW Race is a socio-political term. DNA ancestry testing don't test for "races" as they don't exist in nature. It's simply a folk taxonomy system and in the modern sense of the word created by Western European enslavers (aka the white supremacists). The enslavers invented races to rationalize their continual enslavement of Africans and theft of indigenous people's lands. Western European enslavers didn't believe that Africans and indigenous people were "really human". DNA ancestry tests simply tests for a person's ancestry (whether it be from one region of the world or multiple). Nothing more and nothing less.

Danielle S awesome 🍻 genetics or human species were mandatory at my university, but nat geo has all the objective facts I referenced online 😉 let me know if you need a scientific citation, I got you.... Africans (which obviously includes the Jewish community) and Hispanics lead modern culture by far and have modern monuments, that engineering cannot recreate, that are 10-60k years old 😂 "2. Out of Africa Genetic data show that a small group of modern humans left Africa for good 70,00 to 50,000 years ago and eventually replaced all earlier types of humans, such as Neandertals. All non-Africans are the descendants of these travelers, who may have migrated around the top of the Red Sea or across its narrow southern opening." ngm.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/0603/feature2/map.html

Your Asian comes from the Philippines. A long while ago, the Spaniards took slaves from my country (the Philippines) and brought them to Mexico. They then had their offspring with the Mexicans. In return, the Mexicans brought the language of Chavacano which is a mixture of Mexican Spanish and Tagalog (the Filipino language) to a region in the Philippines called Zamboanga. The language was an easier way that the native Filipinos can communicate with the Mexicans. Like a Spanish Creole. ❤️ Also, when you listen closely to the regional music of Mexico,pay attention to the Congo drums and African influenced sound and instruments. When you roam the streets of Mexico sometimes you will find Afro-latinos. They are barely spoken about and society is trying to hide their culture. Africans play a big role 😊

There's a book about African heritage in Mexico which states that around the early 1800s, at least 10% of Mexico City residents were of African ancestry. The city of Puebla also had a large African population as well as the coastal areas like Veracruz, Michoacan, Oaxaca and Nayarit. The term "chino" for curly hair comes from the Spanish casta designation of a person of mixed Indian and African ancestry. This book also theorizes menudo is African in origin as it is very similar to African stews. And of course, you can't deny the musical contributions like Son Jaracho. From my limited observations (family, online), most people of Mexican heritage who have taken DNA tests have between 3-8% African DNA in their results.

We all have DNA from all over the world because of Colonization, slavery and rape of African and Indigenous women in all these areas. There is a smattering of Jewish DNA in Mexico and most of Central and South American because Jewish Holocaust victims fled to the US and were denied entrance, so they found refuge in Central and South American until the laws changed. Usually, many Latinos that have the star of David in their homes or in artwork or something, actually have Jewish ancestors that mixed with your families. This is all so fascinating.

Hey Dulce, you should look up the history of Turtle Island, the name of the "Americas" (South America, Central America, United States, Canada, and Mexico) before European colonization. I think it will help you better understand your Native results. The truth is that before European conquest, Mexico had its own indigenous inhabitants (Natives) that were very much connected to the Indigenous people of what's now the US. It makes sense that you have African ancestry too because a small portion of enslaved West Africans were brought to Mexico as part of the slave trade. I think understanding this history may help you put your results into context. I just want to help! Love your videos!!

Yes, we should, but sadly, this isn't thoroughly taught in many schools within the U.S. Most schools just talk about the slavery in the U.S, which makes sense since it's important to learn about the country's history. Nonetheless, I feel like history taught in the States does a terrible job teaching the Native America history and the colonization of all the Americas.

Pakistanis and Afghanistanis tend to test their DNA with Family Tree DNA. Family Tree DNA even ships kits directly to Pakistan. AncestryDNA doesn't. There's also an "Afghani-Pakistani DNA Project" at Family Tree DNA. AncestryDNA is more useful for people with deep roots in the Americas and Western Europe.

Honestly as a middle eastern myself (half), I could always pull of being latino. We're not ethnically related (not at all really), but we share a lot of common features which is pretty cool :D And if you do have Arab/middle eastern in you, it's probably from the Spaniards since muslims ruled over Spain (the "Andalus") centuries ago, and after that the Spanish invaded Central/South America so definitely some arab genes lasted. It's fascinating.

Moor admixture among Iberians is exaggerated. Most Moors were local converts, a huge number of them were killed or expelled, and out of the few remaining ones who were allowed to convert to Christianity and stay most were eventually kicked out as well because it was believed that they continued practicing their original religion in secret. Only Southern Spaniards have any noticeable Moor admixture, and even there it is under 10%.
@Trakoda
@Trakoda 7 жыл бұрын
exposed yt, just because a people rule over someone doesn't mean that they genetically replace them. Genetic replacement only happens under very specific circumstances, such as farmers encroaching on land of hunter gatherers because farmers can produce far more food and outbreed the hunter gatherers. Or the European colonization of the Americas because diseases killed 85% of the natives, in addition to massive differences in military technology. North African ancestry among Spaniards is estimated to be around 1%, in Southern Spain its around 10%. Like I said, most Muslims in Spain were White converts, hundreds of thousands of Moors were killed during the reconquista, many thousands were killed during the inquisition, and even those who had converted to Christianity (so called Moriscos) were expelled later because they weren't trusted.

Nightbird when was the las time? 🤔 in my education! Which, by the way it's the same she had the very first years or her life before living in the United States... And let me tell you that even outside school that's something basic Mexicans learns in the familiar environment at home, exactly because it's in our roots and even for the basic celebrations like "15 de septiembre, día de la independencia" (which by the way, is the real national celebration for us, not May 5th) it's a MUST known fact in the popular life of every Mexican. Maybe that's why she gets so much hate related with her background and roots, there is nothing wrong embracing other cultures, improving oneself, and obviously living accordingly to the place your are... but another thing is not knowing even the simplest things of the culture she claims to love and respect. I don't know... that puts in perspective ( for me) a lot of things in her that I never have had considered, I guess the image se likes to give (because of course she knows how she is perceived) is just that... an image.

girl you are 22% from the Iberia Peninsula, what if we are relatives? hahaha actually I think most of your DNA from the Middle East, rest of Europe and Africa comes from there. In Spain and Portugal we were conquered by Greeks, Romans, Germanic civilizations, as well as Arabs, who were here for more than 700 years (they came from Middle East and also North Africa ). later we conquered America in 1492 and stayed there for a lot of years as you may know. as you have almost 1/4 of your blood Iberian, that makes me think does those little percentages come from there and our early conquerors. I am dying to get this test as well

Howdy paisana! Native born Mexican here Residing in USA I️ was reading some of your comments! Not sure why folks are so negative It’s not your fault you don’t know ur Mexican History. So let me shine a light on it. México had a lot of wars; independence from Spain, Independence from France, civil wars, and Mexican America war where México lost half of her territory The wars were critical because they shape what present day México is today. What sparked the wars was the unjust treatment of the lower class citizens the Afro Meztizos, Natives, and believe it or not some of the European Meztizos México had a dynamic relationship when it came to races, and developed a cast system based on how much European blood you had in your veins the less European the lower the class. Collectively there were more Afro Mexican, Afro misteco, Indio misteco and indigenous people than European people in México~this is how we won most of the wars Also keep in mind that we were a melting pot almost 500 years before it happens in the USA. We come from all racial backgrounds but we all have Spanish names and speak Spanish because our own narratives were replaced by Spanish Colonial narratives In México we have tons of African elements scattered all over the country interwoven into our culture that are now native to us. In the 1925 there was a national movement after the publishing of a book called the Cosmic race; the People with bronze skin, we attributed this to the “mestisaje “ mixing of the races and the movement was called “la raza”! Americans have always known we were mixed with black and Native American And during the Jim Crow laws they would not allow us into their businesses This was due to México’s first Afro Mexican president Vicente Guerrero who abolished slavery almost 40 years before the US. On the onset of the world wars we had a wave of European immigration fleeing their countries for safety into México. Oddly enough people of color make the largest portion of the population in México but we are under represented in the media. If you ever watch Spanish TV only white Latinos with light eyes and blonde hair hit the airwaves. Common repercussions of colonial oppression! Oh the I️Iberian Peninsula is Spain and Portugal

There is a KZbin video with a Mexican-American with this surname who talks about his DNA results. Some Italians settled in the central Mexican town of Chipilo. Krystalann nat geo has a free population reference chart online (genographic 2.0) 😉 the oldest Europeans are of African and or denisovan (ancient Hispanic Africans) bloodlines. The denisovan are at least 400k years old 😂 'white' is a meaningless and never scholarly term, anyone can display African depigmentation genes since humans are 100% African, 99.9% identical. African depigmentation genes flourished in Europe 5-8k years ago through ancient Hispanics (denisovan Africans) and young Asians (Neanderthal Africans). Cauc-asians are people from Georgia, Russia and the Caucasus regions that are an Asian and Hispanic mix that didn't leave Asia until 1,500 years ago 😂😂 "You and I, in fact everyone all over the world, we’re literally African under the skin; brothers and sisters separated by a mere two thousand generations. Old-fashioned concepts of race are not only socially divisive, but scientifically wrong." "Explain that genetic evidence shows all humans are 99.9% identical and do not fall neatly into physical categories some people call races. The differences among us-like skin color and hair texture-evolved as humans adapted to different environments. They account for less than one tenth of one percent of our genetic makeup." www.nationalgeographic.org/activity/all-africans-under-the-skin/

I'm always surprised when Mexicans are surprised they have a bit of east Asian in them. Have you guys never looked at yourselves in the mirror. You do know your eyes are Asiatic right? Even if you didn't know that Native Americans evolved from East Asians who migrated across the Behring Strait thousands of years ago and were isolated by the ice in the Americas.

Everyone saying they thought she would be more native because her looks is uneducated. Obviously she has strong native features but if you have seen a full Native from Mexico which there still is some she definitely doesn't look full.

Mexican is the nationality, Mestizo is the race, which is Spanish + Native American. I don't understand why a Mexican would be surprised to find Spanish heritage, they speak the language, surely they must be aware of the link.

We want nothing to do with Spanish people. We see them as ancient foreigners, as in they came to our country centuries ago and then they left. The reality is that they never left and they are living within us. It's not hard to understand this, it's just that we don't like accepting it.

Dulce, I'm curious how does this change how you feel about these other countries? If you'd known this before you visited London, do you think you'd have felt more of a connection to the place? :)

So you know, Family Tree DNA's Family Finder test is currently on sale for 59 U.S. dollars. You missed AncestryDNA's recent sale. Both tests are useful. After that you can plug in your results to free sites like GEDmatch and DNA Land.
