ah.. a musical narrow mind in the upper window... while we're all entitled to our own opinions, those with more open minds tend to be a happier lot. This is like starting a Classical Music Appreciation class with Mozart... maybe a bit much for those stuck in 4/4 and in need of personal reinforcement rather than horizon expansion. Not for everybody, but for those who get it, or are willing to try, it offers a lot of satisfaction, energy and joy.

Great reaction guys! Wintersun was band who took me into highscream. Wintersun is finnish metal band and their music is really epic! Jari Mäenpää (guitar, leadsinger) is mastermind behind the band and Wintersun started as his soloproject while he was still playing in Ensiferum (another great finnish metal band). Other wizards are Teemu Mäntysaari (guitar, backing vocals), Jukka Koskinen (bass, backing vocals) and human metronome Kai Hahto (drummer) who plays also in Nightwish. There is still two songs from same rehearsals... Time and Land of Snow and Sorrow and all these songs are from Time 1 album. I really hope you could react to these ones also. 🙏🏼😎✌🏼

I think this song is a lot to take in, even if you are used to Wintersun. It's epic and I love it but as an intro I would suggest Time though it is still reasonably long but most of Wintersun's songs are 10 minutes plus lol. Time has more melody I feel and more clean singing to keep old mate happy. So much wonderful music to explore from Europe, nice to see you being open-minded.

We get them when they are young , (can be found on YT with) Hevisaurus 100 , with english subs , behind scene guitar and keyboard solos 3 min 40 sec to 6 min 40 sec , you see how many people they can get involved , from different bands , in to a heavy band aimed for the kids in Finland .

The Family van Halen emigrated in 1962 from the Netherlands to the USA . The Guitarrist Eddie van Halen is born in Amsterdam . Wintersun is a finnish Band , Kai Hahto , the Drummer is Drummer of Nightwish as well , try Nightwish " Ghostriver " or " Romanticide " , if you dont know them , or "Storytime " + " Ghost love Score " theese are very melodic , all from Wacken 2013

Wintersun took me a while to get used to. I am not a big fan of growls, although the more I listen to them, the more they fit into the songs. This was 14 minutes of a wall of sound. Now imagine listening to this song in Finland, above the Arctic Circle during the winter. You can almost feel the cold and wind and see the stars and snow. I'm going to recommend a song you should try to get to for Christmas. It's a brand new song by Sabaton, a metal band that specializes in songs about historical events. They recently released a song called Christmas Truce about the impromptu truce that happened during the First World War on Christmas Day 1914. It is also a great introduction to this band. If you do watch it, be sure to listen to the end.
