The meat, milk shelves as an exit and bathroom walls ones got me :D. So did the corn dog incident, I literally remember that from an old school Alonzo Lèrone video, I believe episode 46 many years ago. I'm still a little surprised that Alonzo hasn't roasted me yet. Nobody caught it yet, but at the time I did the Winnie the Pooh joke fan-art about Tigger getting circumcised, I legit forgot how to spell "circumcise." I spelled it like 3 different ways, y'all have to for yourselves, lol.

The stories they tell me are crazy haha 😭😂🤦🏼‍♀️ There seems to be two main categories: Americans that are very aware of the rest of the world, it’s politics, it’s relevance etc. OR people who know absolutely zero 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ There’s very few in between haha. I’m Scottish and my mum went to Philadelphia when she was young (and then travelled the USA). Someone asked her “do they have TV in Scotland? 🤔” (and this was in the late 70s 😂🤦🏼‍♀️). My mum was like “yes 🙂 we invented it”. 😂😂😂😂 We have the worlds biggest arts festival in Edinburgh in August so we see lots of tourists and get lots of questions. My favourite two: we have a cannon on the ramparts of Edinburgh castle called the One O’Clock Gun that goes off… every day. An American tourist asked me “what time does it go off at?” 😂 One o’clock sir. My next favourite was how far away Brigadoon was 😂 Not a real place 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

As for the restaurant bathroom thing, I've got a weird one. I was having a meeting with my kids' teachers at a nearby McDonald's. My husband was there as well. A couple workers came past us and knocked on the bathroom door, yelling in Spanish. My kids' teachers were Spanish and the looks on their faces spoke volumes. Cops turned up, with the ambulance not far behind, and the McDonald's workers forced the door open. They found a guy laying on the bathroom floor, OD'ing. The cops and EMTs walked past us with this guy on a stretcher. So yes, when my kids use a public restroom, I look around the bases of the toilets and sinks for used needles. People are crazy in the 'hood.

It's not just "the hood" . It happens here in the Upper East Side and the Foothills, too. Which are the wealthy neighborhoods. Some girl OD'd in a car in the parking lot of the barbacoa restaurant my (ex)boyfriend and I were eating at. It was in the Upper East Side, and they, (we assumed they were a couple), were in a late model Mercedes SUV. They were also nicely dressed. Well, we could see him easily, at least. The paramedics were surrounding her.
