Some fun facts about her: she used to have a group of intellectuals surrounding her even in Rome. They were known as the “Reale Accademia” (Royal academy), and had interests in ancient literature, especially in Greek pastoral poetry. After the queen died, those intellectuals founded the “Accademia dell’Arcadia” (academy of Arcady), wanting to revive that same Greek pastoral poetry and their influence was greatly felt in Italian literature. Another fun fact is that the queen used to wear man’s clothing Edit: wtf is going on down in the answer section

Most queens in Egypt were just queens and only some of them had pharaoh husband, a bunch of female rulers existed and some had male regalia others not, their reigns were often erased by later male rulers... so Hatshepsut, another woman pharaoh, switched between gender representation, you can see using both male and female titles on her, and Cleo was a full pharaoh with fully female identity.

She is probably one of the worst rulers from sweden, seriusly. She gave away land, titels and money to other rich people so that they would be friends and party with her when she was queen. This was so bad that when her cusins son came to the throne after his father died and they were in war the Swedish fleet was absolutely destroyed because almost all high ranked personal were rich people who had gotten their position simply because of being friends with Christina or of nepotism. I think the worse thing is that both her father Gustaf II Adolf and the two kings who came after her, Karl X and Karl XI, worked hard so that we would have a society where the right person for the jobb whould get it and at least Karl X and Karld XI had to spend so much time cleaning up after her and take back things she had given away from the crown and the Swedish economy to her rich friends. I recommended reading about this time period in Swedish history, it's quite exciting. Just remembered that there are speculations that she had a thing for Karl X her cousin who she gave the throne to...

karma for the swedes for overthrowing Sigismund vasa for the retarded reason of "he was catholic", denying us the glorious Baltic empire of Polish-Lithuanian-Swedish union, but you knew that was a mistake and you started coping for this missed opportunity so hard you tried to invade Poland like 60 years later to make the baltic empire yourself, but guess what, you only managed to begin Poland's downfall which caused the rise of Russian relevancy, you didnt get any land and you indirectly empowered your biggest russki enemy
