You are the best food doctor maachi!! Because of you I learnt and made loads of tasty vegan kimchi. Kimchi is possibly the best food on earth along with all the delicious side dishes. Korean food is developed over 1000s of years with such a history, to both gut and heart content, gourmet in every bite. Thank you for sharing this rich food culture with us. And I am already sharing these with my family and friends, some who are in culinary too. Love

I think everybody has at least one item in their home that was given by a special person at some point in their life, and that makes you think of that person each time you use the item. For me it's an antic thimble, handed to me by a close friend of mine, which belonged to his late grandmother. I have never met the woman, but I think of her each time I sew something by hand. I love having it in my sewing kit. Very precious to me. Thank you Maangchi for always telling sweet stories while you're cooking.

With this horrible Covid-19 you cant go in and eat in your favorite places and if you can, I'm still to afraid to do so, so I've been learning alot of things during this time lol. I'm so hopeful that I can make these and do them justice. Lol I was already warned that I will eventually learn to make Kimchi so that should be interesting as well. Never too early to start haha learning. I will admit I'm not a fan of American kimchi but I have been told that I would like Korean Kimchi lol I'm up for trying it.
