Hey all! I forgot to mention it in the video, but I was really blown away by the kindness and understanding I found in all the people I met while filming this. Despite the challenges everyone is facing with all the changes in our lives lately, it seems that plenty of people recognize that it's a perfect time to help each other out. I'm really grateful to see that people do tend to come together in times of need, and I hope that's the main takeaway from today's adventure. That's an oxygen concentrator. It pulls oxygen out of the air for a patient. Less trouble than tanks if someone has to use oxygen and can use one, Not something to mess with because they can explode of not used prooerly,

Yeah, that’s kind of what I was thinking. It may have had a good tank and a motor to scrap, but I figured it would be next to impossible to sell right now if it works at all. Risky flip, happy to skip.

Thub a little tip I learned from camp when I went snorkeling is a lot of divers spit in there googles before going under water to prevent them from fogging up no sure if it would work for the ski goggles you have but worth a shot 🤷🏽‍♂️

If you have a bottle depot, you gotta take them there! A lot of places don’t though, you’d probably know if you got charged a “deposit and recycling” fee every time you bought a beverage

My best moment dumpster-diving so far - saw an electrical cord, started pulling on it, it was a HUGE old microwave, and someone had put all their doggie poop-bags in it. That was one I left totally alone, didn't even snip the power cord. Wass NOT worth it!!!

Aluminum cans can be recycled at most scrap yards for some money. Either than that, I have never seen any place to return bottles. And I do live in GA

I’ve made decent money selling them locally around Christmas time. There are resellers who used to buy them in lots, but now the market is flooded with Chinese repro boxes so there isn’t much money to be made anymore. The absolute newest model box sells for $50 on eBay though, until the repros hit the market.

Those are compost bins. People do unfortunately put garbage in them sometimes, but mostly they won’t have anything nice lol
