Dumpster Diving for Dinner! We Cooked What We Found at Our Campsite

As I said in a previous video, So glad you could save some money by finding food that you could cook for your dinner over a campfire. I think you should vlog this whole trip and make a long documentary movie of it, showing how you saved so much money while traveling across the country and back. Saving with the food you found and ate, supplies you used camping, and the clothes you found and wore. While donating in those communities along the way too. The guy bringing you all that free firewood was your reward from the universe for being so kind to other people. God says if you feed my hungry people you will be rewarded.

I'm 56 years old and I feel like I'm watching my daughter and son in law on there dumpster diving and camping adventures! You both are so awesome I really enjoy watching you all I love that you find and donate food and find most of your food for camping from the trash that is so awesome! You both are very special. I have to tell you I have very high anxiety and I get real bad panic attacks and watching you two especially the camping part and the way you both laugh with each other actually calms me down and makes my panic attack go away so thank you both for helping me with that. America is the number one most wasteful country in other countries they donate what they don't use now I have to give Walmart and Publix Credit they do donate to low-income areas by the truckload they fill it up with the truck and then they go into the places and they give it and Walmart also donates to zoos that's where a letter their fruit go and their meat that's bad and there was a video a while back where a guy showed all the food that was being wasted don't it was being dumped for a reason they probably had a flood and it contaminated everything otherwise they're good about donating

Please don’t donate food that has expired to food pantries. A lot of times people are allowed to go only once a month and if the food they get is expired, they don’t get to take it back. Most of the time the expired food has a bad taste to it. You would think that pantries wouldn’t give expired food out but some do. I guess I should have said breads because there are some foods that have best if used by that don’t taste bad.

You two rock!!! Always check schools if and when you drive by them. Most do have a little pantry's. Some might be out behind the school but most at the entry. If you find any kid books most of the schools also have a little library! I love how you two are just taking your time and enjoying the journey and the parks. If in no hurry this is the way to do it! No stress to get from point A to point B! Those dumpster meals I bet taste great!! Food does when free and love you are proving to people you are willing to eat what you find and 99% of the time there is nothing wrong with it!! You need to do grilled cheese and tomato soup one night! Go to a deli and just ask for as many slices of cheese you need and grab a cheap loaf of bread. So loving this adventure!! Looks like when in Ohio you were in the Toledo area? You need to treat yourself and camp a couple nights lake side on lake Eire. So pretty and like being on the Ocean. Oh and do NOT pass up a visit to Niagara falls!!

I haven't commented in a long time. You inspired me years ago to dive and I found all kinds of great stuff in my local trash areas. I sold some things and then donated some and kept some. I had to stop because I didn't have room for more stuff. I am continually appalled at how wasteful our society is, etc. I have to try not to look in our community trash bins, etc. because there will be something good. Thank you for taking us along on this journey! You and your husband are such kind, thoughtful people! This video is so inspirational & delightful! Please be safe out in those camp grounds! I think it's a great idea to show all the good things you find on your trip & your experience at the campground. The only thing I question is not grabbing al the onions since you knew you were going to drop off stuff at a pantry, they are a great staple you could have left in a box on the ground, also why put onions in with your fruit especially next to your grapes.
