Hi Kelly FYI... Butterflies have a powdery substance on their wings that help them fly. When we touch them it comes off. So need to be careful. Please pass it on. Peace

I live in a very small town in south center Pennsylvania. There are around 350 people. The closest Mc Donald's other fast food places is 25 miles away. The mall is 42 miles away. The closest red light is 10 mile away!! Glad you're out and about. Enjoy your day 😌

@Tommie Jones I cook everyday . 2 or 3 meals a day. Your right, I could never live in or near a city. We have deer, an occasional bear and turkey. Lot of snow in the winter. Nice summers and fall. Elevation here is 2000 feet.

here's just a thought re those slashed pillows- you end up with lots of clothes, some have tears or stains that won't come out--you might part those out into strips and panels and use a strip to patch across a pillow to make it usable. I just took one and cut in half for my mom who wanted tiny pillows that can't be bought in a store; you'd have to wash/sanitize those slashed pillows-put them inside a pillow case, tie it off and throw in the washer. Also some of the clothes-in bad shape, consider the buttons; I cut them off and put them in a button container if nothing else for mending clothes but you also might sell a glass full at your next yard sale.

I like to collect the labels too. I craft with them and sometimes use them as patches.

Thank you for showing us your family home and for the site seeing. I love small towns. The only thing I worry about is if there are snakes around. Loved seeing the dogs!! We have lots of stray cats by us. Mama cat had 7 kittens last week. I love the clothes. I would use the stained one as a night shirt. The Books of Saints looks interesting. Take care 🙂❤

Get a bottle of dawn for the stains put some on the t shirt leave it for the day wash the spots by hand then wash it in the machine

Cool butterfly tree who knew? I get quite a few yellow ones every year as well as monarch butterflies they're so beautiful to watch fluttering above the grass.
