Here's why: * Private Insurance: Most Americans still rely on private health insurance plans, even with the ACA's subsidies and marketplaces. * Profit-Driven System: The healthcare industry remains largely profit-driven, with private insurance companies and hospitals playing key roles. * Limited Government Control: While the government provides subsidies and regulates the insurance market, it does not directly own or operate healthcare facilities. The ACA can be more accurately described as a regulatory reform that aimed to improve access to health insurance and make it more affordable. It did not fundamentally alter the capitalist system of healthcare in the United States.

@mage2806 It took me one month to respond because a part of me didn’t care and I was working a LOT but I will take a stab. Anytime the Federal government tries “Regulatory Reform” it is socialistic in nature also many health insurance providers opted out of Obamacare because of the shocking rise in premiums which was totally created by Obamacare and the individual mandate which is the Federal government compelling citizens to buy something they may not want to buy! Yeah many health insurance providers wanted this because they knew they were going to be subsidized! Subsidization is VERY Socialist! Or Socialist(ic) It’s how European farmers stay afloat! Also Obuma and Democrats RAIDED ( TOOK) from part of Medicare and Medicaid to Fund Obamacare! “It did not fundamentally alter the capitalist system of healthcare in the United States” Yes it did by making it less Capitalist! There’s a SMALLER market and LESS Competition! Republicans came up with the idea of buying insurance across state lines and cooperative drug/medicine buying “Pools” yet Obuma and Dems shut those ideas down! That’s LESS Market not MORE and a government attempt to control 1/6 of the economy! 🙄🤦‍♂️🤨 Also add the insipid taxes, fines and fees on medical equipment and medicine it’s like garbage Soviet style price controls that lead to shortages plus totally screws up supply and demand which is part and parcel the near Essence of Capitalism! 😎 It may be more affordable now but that’s because Trump and Republicans took the individual mandate away and the stupid tax increase on medical equipment and medicine plus Trump’s Great idea of Hospitals regardless of your insurance status having UP FRONT PRICING for almost everything and the different prices or price structure for an X-Ray or MRI plus even sometimes listing prices of their competitors ( Other Hospitals) 😉 Unless the Feds allow partial privatization of Social Security benefits any government attempt at “Regulatory” reform is Socialist! 🙄🤨🧐🤣

I must disagree with the structure of Charlie Kirk's arguments/debates, most often when he goes against college students... The arguments reflective of Ben Shapiro... he's better at bullying someone out of an argument than he is actually debating And I also need to point out that this does mean I'm claiming he is always making poor arguments and just bullies, in this video he very much was up against someone who had few grounds to what he was saying. I do think Charlie did view certain segments of the debate too narrowly, which happens to everyone. Fallacies from both sides, entertaining to watch. 8/10 watch

CEO do need to be monitored like before. CEO use to not be able to make more that I think like over 10 to 100 times as their lowest paid worker. This made companies pay employee better due to they could not get raises unless they raised the employees wages too.

@@JsalMMA1 okay, so there can be a public fire department to put out fires in public areas such as forests and parks, but they can have private fire departments that people pay to put their own houses out. Here’s an even better idea. The private fire department can work for the home insurance companies. That way they have real incentive to put it out as thoroughly and as quickly as possible since they have to pay for whatever gets destroyed. They also have more incentive to find the root cause to prevent it from happening again. I can’t believe you actually thought that was a good argument. People can’t perform heart surgery on themselves either. Why can’t the government provide that?
