SKS have some fenders (e.g. Raceblade and Speedrocker) you can attach to the fork and seat stays. This should solve your problem, unless you insist on fenders that get screwed onto the frame :)

I like the _SKS Raceblade Pro XL_ fenders for "road" bikes. They're the totally adjustable clip-on type, but I think they only work w/ up to ~32mm tires.

I appreciate the video and the acceptance that sometimes we won’t think of every little thing. And that’s okay. I absolutely love my Stinner. Beautiful color, steel, rack mounts, fender mounts, and S&S couplers…but the small thing I wish I had added was cable stops so I can use the breakaway cable thingies. It would make travel just a bit easier for me.

Yup. Ordered my dream bike last year with mudguards, never took them off. Final touch: There are two sets of 5mm spacers between the frame and mudguards, so i can use 35/40/45mm tires ,and mudguards will still fit perfectly just by adding or removing spacers.

Great if one has the budget, but not so great if you don't know what geo numbers you want & what geo numbers don't work.

I'm really leggy, and even though I'm a slowpoke I really like to ride. Custom geometry is the only way I can get a road or gravel bike that doesn't have me bent over with my arms outstretched like a T-Rex getting the old stop-and-frisk, so I finally bit the rather expensive bullet and got a custom frame built for me by Jeremy Sycip. It's glorious.

Love this, what a cool bike and story! I don't know much about fenders (in Colorado here, doesn't rain much!) but I would assume there are a lot of aftermarket awesome fenders that don't require built-in frame attachments? I've seen some - especially on the rear - that look like they do an adequate job. Thanks, again, WOW, titanium what a cool bike!

You can make your own from fiberglass, it's not easy and messy, also the finishing part consists of sanding epoxy for hours. Fun 😂

In Colorado as well. It might no rain much, but with snow from Early Oct to late April (sometimes longer), slush and snowmelt are common throughout this long season. I love my bolt on metal fenders for this reason. 😊

In 2011 a friend of mine built me a custom touring bike. Disc brakes, but with canti brake mounts. Geared, but eccentric BB in case I wanted to go single speed. 35 mm tires, but clearance for 2.25" tires AND fenders. Fenders are gone now, but I have clip on fenders that work quite well. Bob named the bike the Cockroach, highly adaptable and virtually indestructible. And it is, once I rode down a hill and hit a UPS truck at the intersection. Truck tipped over.

Ordered a custom bike here. Pretty identical in specs to yours, except steel and 1x. My mistake? No fender mounts. I’ve since acquired a higher end bike so my custom steel one was relegated to commuting and bad weather duties. I ended up mounting fenders using rubber/metal hose clamps. Not the prettiest solution but it works well. I can send you some pics if you want.

I have a custom titanium bike from Waltly that I built last year. No rack or fender mounts, bu that's okay for me since I only ever planned for it to be a good weather endurance road bike, so it never gets ridden in bad weather. That's what my steel gravel/commuter bike is for.

I guess Grant Petersen was ahead of the curve on this one. In 2005, 10+ years before your Stinner, Rivendell introduced a production frame named the A. Homer Hilsen, with room for up to 700x40mm tires, or 38mm with fenders. (They've since upped that clearance even more) It has road-ish geometry not too different from modern gravel bikes, lugs that are pretty and unique, and useful braze-ons, including those for racks and fenders. No disc brakes and definitely not titanium though.

Back in 2010 I custom ordered the most expensive bike I’ve ever had (even still with expensive full suspension bikes I have) - a Moots PsychloX. THIS was before hydro drop bar disc brakes were available, but I had them anyway. Back to that in a moment… Anyway, back in the era, mechanical road disc was becoming a thing (Avid BB5 and BB7 Rd) are the only two I can think of right now, but the rear hub spacing on road bikes was 130mm and mountain was 135mm. Somehow I decided that 135mm was better and had the bike built with that spacing as well as ensuring I had full fender braze-ons. This included the WoundUp TeamX carbon fork. So, to this day, I still have this bike and recently put it back on the road by removing the early MTB hydraulic brakes with 324Labs adapters to enable me to use any mechanical drop bar levers I wanted and just put on TRP Spyre calipers. I still have the SRAM Rival 2x10 drivetrain, fully sealed Nokon cable housing and other CX race specific parts (wickwerks 38/46t chainrings), but this weekend will probably put back on the original 34/50 chainrings because this gearing isn’t cutting it for climbing in Boulder. Tl;dr - I have a 14 year old gravel bike before gravel was a monetized term!
