I agree with TortillaWitch, but I also agree with you. Eating disorders aren't always the skinny ones, but also the larger ones. I don't look at a "fat" person and think "Ew..", I sympathize, because I know EDs swing both on ends of the scales. Unfortunately food is both a comfort and an immediate threat for people with EDs. Not everyone slams the obese people.. I've suffered through an ED a few times, so I really understand the situation on both ends(Thick and thin).

This is all so unrealistic. Why can't they make a film for once that reflects the illness in every detail. What Ed-sufferer would leave all that stuff around for his/her parents to find? What parent would go to that school and leave the door ajar? Or what director concerned about a scandal for that matter? And of course she is breaking down just as she's having the all important argument with her mother, just to offer prove that she's really ill. A bit annoying.

yeah i would think it's weird too...but my parents didn't notice (and still don't) anything of my secret life...while i got all secret stuff in my room...(not that i want it to be this way)

When the mom was calling for help, it didn't sound very realistic. It sounded like she was acting, as if she wanted people to know she was acting so people wouldn't rush over and think it was a real emergency, but a movie scene.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Parents are not gods, mine certainly weren't. To this day, they are willfully ignorant :( But Jacky, my angel, I hope you're working towards a happier and healthier future. Nobody deserves this kind of life!
