The texture under the child's bed is that used for the "boo balls" in Luigi's Mansion where Boos would fake out the player by having a fake signal from the GameBoy Horror that would lead to the discovery of either a boo ball or a bomb. The bed object might have been imported from Luigi's Mansion, so it's possible the texture is there as well.

Man, the people that originally found some of the easter eggs mentioned in this video have spent way too much time with SSB. Hacking the camera on a stage to look underneath seemingly random objects? lol But without such, um, "dedicated" fans, we'd never know of such odd little additions to the game, so I suppose I'm happy that someone somewhere did it.

I don't know, I've been watching Brawl matches and Melee matches side by side, and I honestly am starting to think I should pick up Melee over Brawl. Melee seems so much faster, more exciting, and so much more technical in terms of a skill cap. Is there any truth to what I'm saying? Or is Brawl really the better game in terms of gameplay.

No that's right. After all the competition that arose from melee (and after nintendo tried to stop some of the tournaments), they decided to make brawl less competitive by changing some aspects of the game. However, the tournaments were amazing for the game's lifespan, so they are making SSB4 more technical again.

You're exactly right. You should definitely play melee over brawl. Its much more intense and skill based. You could also download project m though which was made to make brawl play like melee. But yeah Melee is by far the superior game when it comes to gameplay.

TheExplodingcheez Wave dashing and L-canceling are not bugs, they are physics exploits. They are there on purpose and the developers were well aware of their existence while they had the chance to remove them. They left them in so that people could eventually discover them on their own and add a whole new level of skill and strategy to how they play. Also, the fact that tripping is even a thing in brawl that can not be turned off automatically makes it the inferior game. Sakurai purposely slowed the physics down and added tripping so that it would not be able to be played as competitively as melee.

TheExplodingcheez Well the smash bros series in itself is a competitive series. So most people play it to have fun in a competitive way. So a game that limits the player's ability to become better and more competitive is very counter-intuitive. Melee lets the players push the limits as far as they can in order to become better at it, and in turn and in most cases, have fun while doing it.
