All great religions are built on shame!
Dylan Moran doesn't like the idea of Jesus as a role model, and much prefers the less whiny Batman.

The socialization part is a need that comes from our instinct, inclinations and development as pack hunter-gatherers (since the evolution of man) to gather, share socialize and feel good with those who makes us feel good and welcome, preferably those with the same sentiment and ideas same as ours, from what I read it’s a psychological need.

What do you mean children aren't like that? I've been walking into rooms and forgetting why I'm there my entire life. That didn't just suddenly start happening when I became an adult. I've also often been having a conversation where I forgot what I was going to say, oh I remember, nope I've lost it again. Back in high school I use to call up my friend just to tell him something I remembered from an earlier conversation at school and then he'd say, what are you talking about? And I'd say, earlier today we were talking about this and then I forgot but now I've remembered again. And he'd be like that was weeks ago! And I'm actually realizing that was probably the dissociative amnesia from having DID... I always thought everyone had memory lapses like that.

Hi Dylan. We had dinner next to each other at poor Natasha's wedding reception. I can't deal with social media, but just wanted to tell you that it was a pleasure to talk to you, way back then - not that you were trying to be comical, which was a relief at the time - and I'm now a huge fan, and I smile all the time I see you at your delivery. Particularly when it's pizza. Vegetarian, naturally.

oh my fucking gods; I thought I recognised him from somewhere, and lo-and-behold, he was in Shaun of Dead. Did a little happy dance! I remember seeing him in the film for the first time and going *huh* 'he kinda looks like Matthew Macfayden'
