I'm compulsive, but I'm also very indecisive. I don't know what I want, but I know that I want IT now.
In this best of compilation from Dylan Moran's (Channel 4's Black Books) second live special Like, Totally, the topics of discussion include choosing Batman over Jesus as a role model, what constitutes a brief relationship and mild-mannered people getting super aggressive as soon as they sit in a car.

I didn't understand that one can you explain?
@Biggyfication
@Biggyfication 2 жыл бұрын
@@Binichmoses2 the contrast is hilarious. He's talking about childhood trauma, he starts out with this image of the warm and comforting mother we all know, wearing a nice dress and serving special treats, then she turns into this monster and abuses you. Striking a match of your forearm sounds like something a tough movie gangster would do, and so does telling you to go dance in the living room for money (like a pimp basically). It's just funny how he paints the picture so vividly, his timing and everything is perfect. And also how original it is. You don't hear other comedians do this, it's only Dylan Moran. Hope that helps.

I wish I knew too. In another bit Moran described how trying to hide one's enjoyment of sensual pleasures is an Irish trait. It closely matches an observation my cousin made about our family years ago, that we can't allow anyone to see us enjoying money. And 1854 was the last time any of us had lived there. Seems like only wit and music are shared and enjoyed freely.

I mean, I have my problems, but do you see me basically shouting "This is where I like to talk to my Dad and I don't like you trying to conduct business here, ya bunch of criminals!" at any point? Gee: talk about melodrama! In all seriousness, as the child of a minister myself, I actually have a lot of respect for many people of faith. Maybe just relax a little?
