Mr. and Mrs.Truck Review 2024 Nissan Frontier Hardbody in Rockies. Bold Hardbody has the offroad cool look. But is it just an retro appearance package or more? 3.8 V-6 with 9-speed. Beautiful mountain scenery is the perfect background for this fishing trip. Reminds me of the original Frontier D21 Hardbody old school tough little truck and had longevity. The new truck is bigger, more powerful. Rear axle locker, sport bar, all terrain tires, fender flares, aluminum skid plates, black exterior decals, mudflaps, side rails and more. Also luxury inside with hearted front seats and steering wheel. Functional hauling bed with the Nissan original adjustable side tie-down rails. Heritage look of this sporty mid-size brought on many smiles for Mr. and Mrs. Truck.

Never considered a nissan before this generation. I am about due for a midsize truck and have looked at the frontier several times. The low payload is a bummer but the main thing that stops me is the old infotainment and cameras. I do like that is a slightly smaller truck compared to the others (but with more capability than a maverick). I heard there is a possibility of a refresh so I am holding off to see if 2025 frontier models bring anything new. Otherwise 2.7 ranger is probably going to take the win for me. Love the looks of the GM twins so they are not completely out of the running.
