E-BIKE vs Dirt Bike - A real-world encounter.

I love that it's the bicycles that got there first. Ive just started to look into how torque seems more important that anything, my diy ebike has 113nm of torque (more than a Suzuki gsxr). It weighs in at 33kg, like you can lift it no problem whatsoever. And that's with a 1.6kwh battery and full suspension on a large frame.

Yes, mine has 140nm and just weights 20kg. Capacity is half, like 700wh or sth

Having raced MX, Enduros & now riding ebikes I can honestly say those were some of the most pathetic dirt bike riders I've ever seen. Passed by girls on bicycles going DOWNHILL..sad.

It would have been nice to have had a 200mm travel downhill bike on that section; the baby-head rocks were tough on the Levo. Still, it handled well enough and it was a very enjoyable encounter. I was a bit disappointed my good friend Oz (pictured at the end) didn't come up the trail also.

They did pretty well getting up there on their dirt bikes, it's a very intimidating section. It's steep, but the main issue is how loose the terrain is, it's very hard to get any traction at all.

Video footage doesn't do it justice. On video the hill looks really easy but its anything but easy. That was a serious incline. Great footage.
