as a long time motorcycle rider, these ebikes are replacing the 250-300 cc market, no tags, no gas, putting around town and can handle 10 mile commutes easily, and sometimes faster if you live in the city where you can kind of go the way the bird flies. love my dual star for an all arounder that actually fits me as a tall human, but am jealous of the guys that can pull off a motorgoat or roadrunner without looking like a pit bike. What a time to be alive. I like my dual star infinitely more than say a grom.

I ordered blue 19" in early July, and they shipped it right out. Just call them, and ask what they have in stock. Don't trust the website to be accurate on inventory. I did want the dual star, but I just ordered an extra battery.

I ordered the exact same bike Chit head is riding, but with the gold rims and mirror on May 7 ... took delivery of in stock bike in first week in August with stock black rims. I love the bike. I'm still waiting for the mirrors and refund of $49 on the gold rims.

Two days later they told me that they have no estimate on delivery date, stated they couldn't take cancelations over the phone and then hung up on me. They also never replied to my email request for cancelation. They can eat a d-ck.

I ordered mine in beginning of june for the dual star step through. But this bike now is on backorder till October. So they said they had a dual star available in orange last week so I took that for now. I am still waiting on the dual star step for my wife.

@@shootthechit I used to ride 60 miles a day, rain or shine. I liked riding in blizzards too. During our record setting blizzard, I should have lost my hands and feet to frostbite. God allowed me to keep them. I was immediately put on a big prayer chain. Thunderstorms were a no no.

@@shootthechit Fun and fitness. I was in great shape. I also love adrenaline and I made sure I got plenty of it during those fast rides. My intuition was crazy and I didn't bother looking while playing in rush hour traffic. I knew if I was going to get mangled or end up in a coffin. I'd stop if I knew that. Why look when you have unbelievable intuition and know whether you're safe or not? That produced big adrenaline rushes.

I have a dual star and was wondering, when you pull the brake levers on your dual star does the rear light come on. My light does not come on when I press the brake levers. The light only comes on when I turn my head light on.

Hey Chit! Not trying to be that a****** but I got a few comments about long rides I used to do 50 to 60 mi every single day. Maybe take one day off but average 300 mi a week I got 42,000 miles since 2018 when I first got my juiced bike... bought seven all together So yeah 60 mi a day is a lot. I went down to 50 miles which I currently do almost every single day I'm in great shape but got to warn you My doctor says I have carpal tunnel now in both wrists and I'm having to get an epidural for my back but I ain't stopping. It's too fun. Maybe I'll tune it down to 40 mi a day of hard riding. This bike is coming in a couple of weeks and I like to come in with empty batteries I should have started my own channel a long time ago but I'm too lazy. I'm just out there having fun. I don't even want to work anymore. Stay safe

@ShootTheChit, Did you upgrade the drivetrain to an 8 speed setup with a clutched derailleur like you did on the OG Five Star? My Dual Star should be delivered next week, and I plan on doing your upgrades... still waiting for you to change your mind and produce an installation video 😂. Seriously though, I would be willing to pay you in advance for producing an installation video. I'm sure I'd be able to complete the job without one... eventually. Several others, including myself, would greatly prefer an installation video including the exact same products you mentioned on an Ecells eBike to ensure it is done properly on the first attempt and/or avoid paying a Bike Shop! 😂

I really enjoy your videos. The quarter turn throttle, does it have variable speed throughout it's range or is it full on or full off? I just bought a Velotrics Discover 2 and it has a lefthanded thumb throttle, either on or off. No feathering.

gee im ok on my 20 or so mile runs. a guy i watch goes about 100 miles a day! yup fun to go along [on video] papa is my blue hero :) I "should" get a 2nd battery, just to carry along. IF I need it. but even 30 miles a day is fine for us couch taters. ;) oh yeah hit the like button, but not mutilated.

@@shootthechit A big bottle of organic cold pressed hexane free castor oil. I also bought some DMSO. Dimethyl Sulfoxide is an alternative to bad, addicting pain killers. It is seven times stronger than morphine but it must be applied topically. It has no buzz. Castor oil can kill pain too but it has many uses. It can take years off of your appearance and fix many things wrong with your body. It helps eliminate inflammation which means it should be good to help fix anything. I already knew that inflammation was a part of every disease. I only found out about a year ago that inflammation can cause any disease. Antiinflammatory substances detoxify your whole body. Everybody needs some. DMSO can irritate the skin and cause inflammation but it also greatly reduces inflammation. That castor oil was a quart glass jar.

You'd be in 7th gear, unless you want to pedal really fast. PAS3 puts you about 28-30 MPH (flat ground) @750-800 watts.

@@jamis0nify Thank you for the info, maybe you can help me with my dilemma, I recently recieved my dual star and as per Gator with Ecells, on their 5 star unboxing video, I set my display the same way, but I'm struggling to get more that 20 mph, my setting C15 was different to the one Gator had, mine shows C15:6 and on the bike that gator was working on it showed C15:0? I'm 5.11 250 lbs this bike doesn't run faster than 20 mph am I using gears or pas the wrong way? I'm either using it wrong or is my display set up wrong?

@@saltygreek3870 LIM is the speed LIMiter. 32KMH is 20MPH. 45 is about 28MPH. Set it the highest it'll go for unlimited. C15 is walking speed. 4, 5, or 6KMH. You want C5 to set the "blast off" speed. 2 is one stage, then full power. 1 is 2 stages, then full. 0 is three stages... C9 let's you set a power on password. I also park my bike in 7th gear, and have a motion alarm. C3 is the PAS level at startup. I'm at 1, but need to change it to 0 for no power assist. Don't need it blasting off accidently.
