E & J VS just won a silver medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits competition. American brandy is inexpensive and underrated. It's a big seller but doesn't get much attention in publications.

I love this product! I don't drink liquor often, but this is the exception. I prefer it on the rocks or neat. I find it also goes well with Coca Cola. I know you're not really a soda drinker, but I really enjoy it mixed with Coke as well. Great video. Cheers!

I have a 1.75L bottle of this in the cabinet and I've always wondered why a decent bottle of wine, is generally more expensive than a bottle of distilled & aged brandy. I'm not a fan of brandy, but it is a very robust spirit, especially for the price. Speaking of brandy mixed drinks, one of the few mixed drinks I enjoy is the Brandy alexander. Drink with caution! Soo good.

How would you rate the E&J VSOP compared to the XO? I would assume the XO is better, but is it a lot better or a wee bit better? Which of the value XOs and VSOPs are your favorites out of the Christian Bros, Masson, E&J, etc?

Thanks for watching, xiamengbaby. I appreciate it! Well, the VSOP is certainly very good, but the XO is a step up. It is better, but not profoundly better, as I see it. I think with Christian Bros., Paul Masson, E&J, etc., the XO is usually the best of the bunch.
