They need to develop a large 800 volt EV platform same as their amazing small and medium sized MMA platform . They should use EQXX's platform concept and features . for example they can use it's ultra efficient cell to pack battery design concept(unfortunately their upcoming 2026 CLA class still uses modular pack design) and use upcoming 2027 CATL's amazing 500 wh/kg all solid state battery cells or upcoming ultra amazing CHERY's 2027 dry coated cathode and anode all solid state battery cells with ultra amazing confirmed 600 wh/kg cells . Their new pack will have around amazing 450 wh/kg system energy density with CATL cells and 650 miles of range or 550 wh/kg with dry coated chery's cell and 800 miles of range(highest ever in history of mankind ) . they also can use ultra efficient MMA's e drive unit concept but with more power dense core motor,if MB does what i just said and get rid of ugly EQ line up and have 500 kw fast charging features in their upcoming 2028 electric S class's platform . they will survive otherwise they will bankrupt,please mercedes read my comment and develop this new platform with cell2pack solid state battery pack.

I really love Mercedes but lately you guys fall down. Everything cheap plastic and the entertainment systems are trash. What use are all those smart features, if it’s super slow and unhandy. Just look at the map lagging in the clips. And that in times where we get powerful smartphones for like 500€. So a slightly better cpu won’t make a 80k car much more expensive.

Well, they hired 3000 IT-guys and are spending more than a billion per year for that and still cant outpace an 150Euro entry-level Smartphone from 2014. Makes you really wonder what type of IT-guys they are constantly hiring. Zero practitioners evidently.😒

ps: thats why they probably switch to google with the upcoming CLA because they arent able to do basic sh*t fast and efficient despite ridiculously powerful hardware from nvidia, not that you would need it for Basic stuff like this, see Smartphones from 10y ago.

It doesn't actually charge that fast, it can take 20 to 40 minutes. And not like it showed on the phone.🤣

Depends on the climate, use common knowledge too.

@@DjursholmCars The best way to charge an electric car is with a temperature of 25 degrees, a warm battery, and a charging station where there is no one else but you, and charge from 10%. And even so, you won't be able to charge as fast as this clip shows. I'm not gloating, I wish I was. 😂

@ I mean, just find the right place but anyway. Do you have any experience which charging an EQS?

@@DjursholmCars I've got a Porsche Taycan, it charges faster than the EQS. Because it's 800 architecture versus 400 in a Mercedes. And even a Taycan can't be charged in 20 minutes. I've never been able to do it anywhere.
