Pete, your support over the years has been priceless sir!! I had an amazing time with those corvettes and have a few hundred videos I go back and watch every now and again. I just feel that I want to try and help people anyway I can with some of the things I have learned in life some good and some bad. I am looking forward to this new chapter and glad you are here with my brother 👊🏻

Rick, I haven’t reached out because I know your hair has to be on fire with C8. Going to be a crazy 12-14 months for you my friend. Amen to that Rick good to hear from you Chuck it’s been a while this happens to be my new KZbin channel since I started ride sharing. This is your good buddy Martin from Albuquerque. Remember my old KZbin channel Import Domestic. I still have it. I still plan in uploading content. I’m just so busy driving for Lyft and Uber that I have no time for myself. I definitely consider you Chuck and Rick as good KZbin buddies that I can talk to occasionally. Eventually someday I will stop dreaming and start driving a Corvette that belongs to me and not my girlfriend.

Wow!! Nice to hear from you again. You are so right about our negative world. Seems it is easier to rank down people than to say positive things. You know Chuck it would look a lot better though if you rode around talking from a vette.😊 I thought I had it all figured out by saving in my company's 401 for 36 years and I had a massed over $500,000 to go along with my pension and social security. Enron came in and bought our company and I had to watch my 401 go to zero and I wasn't allowed to pull it out. Now retired and I'm 67 but with the Lord and people like you I enjoy life because it is SWEET. Health can change in an instant and slap you in the face. This last year I had 4 surgeries, 2 hospital stays, and 6 emergency visits. Not giving up - exercising, loving my wife more (46 years of marriage), driving my 2017 Z06 when ever I can and thanking the Lord for letting me live and knowing people like you. Look forward to hearing from you again and sorry this took so long. Love you buddy and God bless.

Hey buddy, started finding these........really great to see you back. I just find you (these videos) very inspiring. I woke up feeling blah, watched this and now feel empowered! I am teaching a Utah Concealed Carry class today and will carry your positivity into the classroom today. Glenn (edit: what kind of “a” hole puts a thumbs down on a video like this?)

Welcome back, Chuck. As someone who is in college and trying to navigate my way through life while also trying to figure out what the rest of my life will look like. I gotta tell you that watching your videos has truly been inspiring, and motivational for me. Being a fan of corvettes led me here, but the amount of wisdom that you have shared on this platform is what has kept me here. Thank you for that, sir. Can't wait to see what's to come with this channel!

Logan, I am honored to have you here sir. You are were so many people wish they could go back to and start over. When I was 21 I set up 5,10,20 year goals and they were my driving force. I wanted my 41 year old me to be so proud of the 21 year old me and he definitely was. You are going to be highly successful in life. Never stop doing what makes You happy. Leave yourself plenty of room to make changes if necessary. Life can sometimes be tough and the forecast is hard to predict but one thing will always steady the ship and that’s always having a trust in God and being financially sound. Have a blessed weekend brother.

Hi Chuck - nice to see you. Watched you as a corvette guy, watched you as a trucker guy and I will watch you as a life guy. Enjoy your attitude, presence and energy. I have a few questions that I think the answers will benefit your audience. Talk about the preparation needed to start your company. Talk about the first 2 or 3 years of starting your own company. What events occurred driving your decision to sell your company? What was the opportunity you started towards, evaluated and eventually decided not to pursue in starting another company? Teach the evaluation process - it is as important to know when to look and say no as it is to jump at yes. Can you tell us what transpired that drove your decision to step back from your trucking plan - and walk us through that decision process? I think it important to teach decision making skills and not just show the bling - I have seen you teach like that and it is needed. Good luck - enjoy this chapter of life and I look forward to your videos! Dave

Welcome back Sir! I believe in the comments section in one of your previous videos, you typed about Prime’s training being 4+ months and being much too long. Prime said I could come aboard once I had my CDL (gettin it in 1 week!). I called other companies and the longest training program I was told about was 3-6 weeks, depending on what the new driver needed (most only being a few weeks max). Thats quite a difference and thats a longgg time to be in a truck with a trainer...if they even turn out to be much of a trainer (no teachers heart!). It sounds like Prime is just getting cheap team drivers for the first 4+ months of a new drivers time with the company. They do pay drastically more than any of the other companies I have contacted though. I am leaning toward another company to avoid such a long “training” (team driver?) program. Any comments regarding the above? Thank you Sir!
@TheTulsaTrucker
@TheTulsaTrucker 4 жыл бұрын
I agree Erik, the NEW training (TNT) phase is way to long. Was also a contributing factor for me not going back at this time. I would suggest king to another company getting 6 months experience solo and if they are not the company for you then go to prime. There will be zero training at that Time. Good luck sir!!

Chuck, great message! I think you are on your path in life to be blessing to many, maybe, a pastor! I think you have a lot to offer! I was with you, until you throw your Corvette ownership experience under the bus as a waste! I had three Corvettes as well, and do not regret one bit the money lost on them. Well, downsize to C7Z from the C5Z and 427. It’s my favorite car and my hobby. They were all paid off and never affected my ability to take care of my family. Like you mention in 100 of your videos, you don’t need a C7 ZR1 to live the lifestyle! It’s a Corvette for every budget! I don’t question your lifestyle, but if money is no object, don’t give up on the hobby people started watching you for! I’m confused! Is this the same Chuck from Corvette918? Corvettes are not waste of money for people who are really passionate about Corvettes, unless you are in it as an investment! It’s hard to follow you now, because you are bouncing around! I pray you find peace in whatever you decide to do! I still enjoy your channel and appreciate your thoughts!

I enjoy cars as much as the next guy and of course I love Corvettes. I enjoyed my time owning the best of the best but that was just a season for me. I am “Bouncing all over the Place” because I can. The financial freedom I have allows me to try allot of different things. Difference between me and 10’s of thousands of other people doing the same thing is that I document my journeys. It’s always easy to question others when it doesn’t line up with our thinking or habits. I don’t expect you or anyone else to understand or agree with my decisions. Everyone has a different definition of taking care of their family. I have started teaching financial peace classes in my community and it’s a huge epidemic people living way beyond their means. Just because you can make payments doesn’t mean you can afford it. It doesn’t matter if it’s Corvettes, boats , motorcycles or anything else with a motor in it. It’s just not wise to have allot of your money in things that go down in value vs having that money in things that go up in value. Owning such things isn’t a bad thing if you have a net worth north of a million. People including myself can rationalize things and tell ourselves it’s ok to buy a 70-80k item that will loose 70% of its value in the next five years and chalk it up to a hobby or our love for something. My friend you are totally free to do what ever it is you want to do and it’s no big deal because no one is around to question you. If I do something I have thousands of people judging it and that’s totally ok with me. Have a blessed day sir.

Great channel, this is what I needed to hear! My wife is a teacher and I am a school bus driver. We both are back in the job market due to the current economic situation. I’m thinking about truck driving as she is looking for another teaching position. We are currently working a debt snowball to become debt free. I’m not sure if you got back into trucking, but what advice would you have for someone thinking about it. My main concerns are the time away from home and building the stamina being in the seat for that long. Thanks and have a blessed day!
