The kinect is a great invention, otherwise how would my friends be able to shut my Xbox down simply by sticking their head in the room and shouting "xbox off"? Seriously, greatest feature ever. Also, whoever figured pushing 3D was a good idea, excellent job. Because if 61% of America wears glasses, obviously the best way to watch movies is to have to wear a 2nd less comfortable pair of glasses on top of our current glasses for some gimmicky 3D effects.

He was totally right about 3D too. we got it to be really good to where I was actually enjoying vs regular cinema and then they came out with the enhanced Dolby theater with leather recliners that had rumble boxes in them to time up with the bass. Yeah, 3D can suck it, i'm over here getting a massage to the tune of the British troops charging into No-man's Land.

The Zero Punctuation series had been going for 15 years meaning it is an amazing compendium of gaming over that timeline. He reviewed whole (now dead) series’ and was on the forefront of almost every new gaming innovation as well. From Stadia to Motion Controls like Move/Kinect to VR and even made comments on changes to various types of gameplay styles and designs.

Also in practice, IP addresses of ISP clients ultimately point to the last level1 router on the node path. Three kinds of filtering are done on the ISP routers. One of these filter processes makes sure that your location gets stealthed and redirects back to the nearest level1 router. If everyone could just access your machine by knowing your IP then yes, the average user would be pretty screwed.

I am from the future. XBox has abandoned motion control altogether. PlayStation only uses Move for *some* of its VR games. Nintendo Switch has it, but it not always used. So don't worry Yahtzee, you win out in the long run.

As far as I know, IP is a layer 3 protocol that has the task of getting IP-packets (datagrams) from source to destination. Several static and dynamic routing algorithms are used for this. An IP alone is not enough as gateway to a PC. As is known: "It is important to note that an IP-address does not specifically refer to a host". It refers to a NIC in reality.". Yes, most hosts have only one IP address. To really try to enter a machine you need a TCP socket (IP+port) in order to avoid ambiguity.

I don't think motion controls and 3D are the future of gaming yet, but it is something to explore. It's gimmicky now, but imagine once the technology is there. The potential is pretty awesome. Then again, I miss the pre Ps2/xbox days when there were unique ideas coming out. Not necessarily good ideas, but you saw some funky stuff back in the day, game and peripheral wise.

Didn't you know that millions of people play Minecraft, by the way? Even at their day job. I know some engineers who play Minecraft with me while they're at their job. Games have nothing to do with how old you are. Even a Technical Director can be playing Minecraft at his desk during lunch break. This is why this game is so successful. It allows for creative minds to explore possibilities. It allows for kids to become more intelligent by creating intelligent redstone designs and so forth.

Let us take some examples from the world of Information Technology - the several function branches. If you obtain a bachelor's degree in IT, you can already work as a network security functionary (a bachelor includes CCNA 1 through 4). It teaches you enough about business (SAP for example) to adequately function in the business world. With an Oracle certification on top, you'll be making two times the normal wage (e.g. 4400 euro gross). That's not enough?

In theory it should stop at the ISP(l1r) but the coding for that has a flaw, and thats the government. As time has gone by, from hiding said IP from other IPs, the governments have open up the gates for "Their own security"; that had ment that ISPs are not permitted to hide IPs unless permitted via your government. This had led to general IPs being easily found/hacked, and with the bonus of users having an OS, the "find" code is in it. You deal with the hardware, we deal with the coding.
