Not really. I dont know the exact weight of the car. There is a lot of GFK parts. But also Cage, Bashbars, Rear Tubeframe is not making it more lightweight i guess 🤔

are you drifting third? building a 328i drift car too and not sure about gear ratios, i have very short gearing in my 320i and can just about drift third, i would like to still be able to use 2 gears

Hey charlie.. so this is still stock 328 ratio, zf trans, and a welded 2.93diff. Almost full video in second gear. From 03:09 is some 3rd gear action, but you can hear, there not a lot of wheelspin going on. Thats more like "oversteer-timeattack" than drifting 😄
