E85 cold start ID 2600s

@@boostedchrys as long as you have a good tuner who will take the time to make the drivability work good then the injectors are great. But if you don’t then I’d stick with something like the FIC 2150cc’s

@@robertcurnutte24 I am tuning it myself and I will spend a lot of time to make them run good. I have FIC2150 currently and, a lot of problems with them. 2150 are injectors for cng fuel and they are restricted with flow when they get very warm, especially with 2 big fuel pumps in tank, fuel gets hot very fast. They still work ok but not the best option. Thanks a lot for help will try id2600 to see how they perform.

That’s on point. Just out of curiosity how do you tune the vehicle I am in the process of finishing up my Forrester with a 6266. Before I was using cobb but now with everything Going on with Cobb I’m looking for better options

We’re you going to use one of Cobbs off the shelf maps? Or do you have a pro tuner? If you have a pro tuner then he can still tune the car through the ecu. But you won’t have any way to switch maps. So if you want to run e85 then you only get a e85 tune. Same goes for 91 or 93 octane.

Ecu tune its just a laptop hooked up to the ecu. Just find a good tuner…

Outfront closed deck, ported heads, GSC valve train, 272 cams, ID rails, ID 2600cc injectors, -8 feed -6 return, 6466 with T51r mod, ETS rotated kit with 4” intercooler, RCM oil pump, killer bee oil pan, pickup, baffle. MAP header, invidia catback.

@@robertcurnutte24 i know wherever you live has relaxed emissions. I cant even pass with a downpipe and tune…

@@crimescene25 my state is kinda tough on emissions. Depending on what county you live in really. Some are very strict, and others don’t require emissions. I’ve been very lucky and have only failed emissions 2 times. But I just go to another quick test and cross my fingers. They really only care if you have the O2 sensors and a cat.
