If you have a Golf GTi, R, S3, TT, Octavia VRS, Cupra, or any other Gen 3/4 EA888 car, this modification to the grounding on the coils will help prevent future misfire issues due to poor ground, or damaged wiring during engine maintenance.

Seems expensive for a ground wire with terminators, cable ties and aesthetic bolts. But cool to see such a thing.

Removing the factory bolts as they are oval and not perfect round. This causes the threads on the head to strip.

Just use a thin spanner to hold the bottom part so it doesn't turn when loosening. Who uses an impact for small nuts!

I got an Audi A6 2008. With an ignition coil cylinder 6 earth to ground short. I would like some FYI on how to fix it!

Very expensive for a bit of ground wire with the connectors, they used to use these earth kits on the wrx sti years ago they were about £40, tool should be included for that price also.

4 bolts and a bit of wire for £80 and that's on special offer. Are those bolts made of solid gold?
