Another tip: Damage him until he is just about dead... run away til you fail the ambush... run back but keep your distance. Save your game. Finish off the dragon and if you don't get anything dragon forged... reload your save. When you do get something, just go rest and repeat. I keep a warp stone close to him for fast travel back to the dragon.

Very helpful tip I will keep it in mind. For those that have Infinity level pawns from friends giving them things to cure possession is HIGHLY recommended. Sometimes if your friends have pawns with 100% resist I read online somewhere that sometimes they will get possessed regardless but if YOUR PAWN has max resist on the other hand they will stay sane? Or you can speed run and take the percepts 4x that you need like magic or strength. Has for leveling of courses the XP ones but blessed used if farming only to kill death and gain XP for levels from it? It always appears 1st run not post Daimon if you go in and out from the door you come into fallen city then go back out? But I believe someone in the video didn't mention if you need to rest 7 days to get it to respawn there? Unless it's permanent and won't appear AGAIN until post Daimon??? Sure in some places it's hard to kill it but just make sure no enemies are nearby to knock off your concentration while taking your buffs to watch it fall down hilariously.

For higher level people, I highly recommend Duskmoon Tower Post-Daimon for a dragon + Rancid Bait Meat for the cursed dragon if not everything was Dragonforged. Or, you can take the alternated Bittleblack entrance right after the Bishop (I think it's the one on the left) and, instead of going deeper in Bitterblack, go back and you will directly fight the Bishop and its cursed dragon, which I think has a high probability of Dragonforging. If he is not there, you might need to sleep a few days to reset the spawns.

Ahh.. the memories. I remember naming one of these dragon locations i believe near Devils groove or something close to it. I dubbed him "Skittles" because i kept killing him many times.

talking about dragon forge take note when you want to upgrade any equiment you should farm the dark bishop in BBI post Daimon because the curse dragon will dragoforge you equiment even with out 1 star upgrade, just remember the save bc the dragonforge is kinda RNG. Vocation that are good for Dark bishop farming: #1: hybrid/yellow vocation: very easy, just use explosive lel #2: blue voc: bit more chanllenging: recommend use golden staff and holly Focus bolt to kill dragon and silent the bishop. Mystic knight just spam holly and dark cannon lel #3: pure red: IDK i never farm them with those voc so sorry :v

I used Mystic Knight in early game. Grab onto the Drake's heart and spam the attack button. If the Drake got your pawn, use stone forest. It will shake the dragon and drop him down.

Is it possible that some gear can't be dragonforged? I got sylvan bow to dragon forge finally but valdoan armor refuses to dragonforge still and that's the only part I care about because I'm trying to make my pawn able to take hits in everfall when I do go for grigori again.

all gear can be dragonforged. if it does not happen, it's just bad luck.

Be careful, because getting too far of the Drake may force him to him to fly VERY high and disappear in the horizon ;x (at least on console versions, so on PC that may be no issue) Specially Wyverns, like that one near the Windbluff Tower XP

Just run far enough away until you get the notice that the ambush has failed. He will return with the same health. Works for me.

can you reload a save right before killing the drake if you dont get lucky to just rekill the same dragon until something dragonforges?

nope, you can save at the fortress and do it again, but not before the kill. he would get full heath again

But these dragons are only baby dragons. When you come up against the Ur-Dragon in the Everfall under gran Soren, now THAT'S a dragon.

for most items they just get stronger all across the board. but there are item that get additional benefits from upgrading, like rusted weapons getting torpor or the tattered mantel resistens against everything

Alright Dugarr, So, Here I am just starting out, I went about 15 levels as a fighter, am now strider until I get master thief, then I was thinking assassin-mage-sorcerer. How balanced would such a run be by level 200? should I even care? also any tips on how to best build your pawn to get hired the most by other players? (besides bust size of course lol)

It doesn't matter how to build your Arisen with one exception. If you want to play a "Great Gamble Ranger". Than you have to heavily invest into stamina. Best chance to get your Pawn hired is through Reddit or Discord. Ingame its just luck. All the good Pawns are build the same, so you won't stand out with yours.

Second answer please to this questions 1)other then switching both your and pawns vocation is there any working method to purifying ? 2)other then ranting pawn and collecting 100 yellow items is there any fast rc farm method ? 3) im playing on xbox both me and pawn is like lvl 180 so even if i create new account to use my (main) account pawn i won't be able to use him because he is much higher lvl is there any why i can exploit pawn rant ?

1/it always worked best for me farming cursed items, switching vocations and than purifiying all at once. 2/sadly thats already the fastest way 3/if the person you rent the pawn from is on your friendslist, he costs nothing

All Drakes have a chance to Dragonforge and respawn every 7 Days. Easiest is the Necrodragon on BBI. Made a video about it.

can't say. depends to much on your gears, stats, if you use periapts and so on. if you want to play with blast arrows you should always carry as much as you can and lean how to craft them on the go.

another good one is right after you defeted grigori outside the gate of gran soren. you can kill him port to the city, sleep and kill him again.

U can also get this dragon glitched on the rocks making it way easier to kill with melee classes

@@dugarrYT its not the set of rocks u used its the big set near the middle of the area u fight the dragon.. u will need to keep reviving any pawns too its not a complete breeze but the dragon will keep flying up and then landing if u lure it to the right spot... Dugarr id recommend researching this method via video as its difficult to put into words for u my friend lol

But sometimes if you do the retreat option then cone back if say hes on no health (dur to pawns cannot kill dragon last kill only arisen can but on the heart) i had trouble with this cause sometimes when i come back to deliver rhe finishing blow he would fly off 😢 which means time was wasted and you have to sleeo 7 days to get it ro resoawn. Also before you kill it make sure wheb wuest failed to SAVE (DO NOT HIT CHECKPOINT SAVE() in case they do not get forged snd to save time just godsbane...no need to return title.

i recommend to NEVER use checkpoints, always save. checkpoints are way to unpredictable.

this would be a great strategy IF the goblins didn't just respawn all the time, yes, I killed them all before starting the dragon, but they constantly keep respawning everytime the dragon leaves, lands, then flies back..... "In the beginning this will take some practice and time..........." I don't know what level or vocation you used or what weapons to cause so much damage to this thing but I was a LvL 39 max rank Magic Archer with a 3 star magic bow and was doing damn near no damage to this dragon....mix in the fact that the goblins constantly respawn, so you are fighting them as well, causes you to do so little damage that the fight takes forever and just isn't worth it.. I eventually got it but the fight took 4 in game days (day and night) of constant combat to finally beat this thing, not even gonna attempt this fight again.

the goblins normally don't respawn. with magick archer you have to make sure that the autoaim hits his weakspots and not just the body, that can be tricky

To me its easier for cursed drsgon at duskmoon tower cayse you don't have to worry about it flying off if it's really low on health but you did it solo so best option. That ahd you can go into the storage areas at the cliffs go all the way downnn inside (should get option to save) and when you save...kill it and if nothing is Dragon forged just godsbane and try again! Gl folks

@@dugarrYT that is also true I just hate it that there's a certain limit in time to defeat it because I think if you take too long it will fly away before you even finish it off? Either that or it only does that when it's in really low health...for example your pawns/pawn is so op it will get it down to 0 health but impossible for them to kill it of course because the Arisen has to put in the kill ON THE HEART...yes has to be EXACTLY on the heart cause iirc anywhere outside the heart will not count???

@@dugarrYT you can kill dark bishop by like 30 minutes into the game if you just use throwblasts. This actually takes a lot longer than just going to BBI early.

it is basically the story of a lifecycle. men becomes god to repeat its failures or ends the cycle. i don't believe it is possible to discuss the story the way it deserves in a comment.

There's just one thing I don't understand. To get something dragon forged you need to kill a dragon but it doesn't happen always. Do I need get my equipment to 3 stars first? By chance? By killing enough of them?

the item you want to be dragonforged has to be at least at 1*, then you have a 2% chance of dragonforging from a drake/wyrm/wyvern. at 3* it becomes 18%. grigori(the dragon) has a 100% chance on any item you wear. the ur-dragon has 30% at 3* and the elemental drakes/wyrms/wyverns on BBI 40%. because of the low chances below 3* it is always recommended to upgrade to 3* first and than try to dragonforge.
