Today we are diving into the early game. I am often asked what I am thinking, and what things I consider before I make a play. This tends to be the pattern of MY thoughts. This is what typically is going through my head while I am having my turn.

you beautiful FREAKING bastard!! I just started dabbling battlegrounds for the first time after years of hearthstone, and understood the concept, understood there's tribes and comps and crazy synergies, but holy hell did these mid-late game tavern phases fry my brain, something just wouldn't click, i know until i had at least 100 games done. And there's no guides out there just explaining thought processes and choices there! Everyone was just like "play more"... To anyone that has that advice in the future, THIS kind of explanation is what a nooby is asking for! Sub absolutely earned

Great video heretic! I’d love to see a video on lesser used minions. I get so punished when I try to branch out and use something I’m less familiar with so I don’t really know about unique rare synergies or which minions are noob traps. Anyway, thanks so much for your hard work!

Pirates seem to be the trickiest tribe imo, definitely my weekest as well, I learned a lot from Heretic and Dog, I think Dog might be the pirate master

Had this on with a Beastish looking first couple of rounds in a Reno game, played by what you said as I was going, smooth first place with Undead. Either coincidence or foolproof advice.

What if the shop gives you nothing? BG can be so frustrating then I don't know what direction to take

Well there are a few things to that. Often times the shop gives us nothing, BUT that is because we saw something we didn't think was good enough, we were not in the mood to play that build, we have bias against that build, OR we just missed it. Statistically we are going to hit something in virtually all games. There usually is just something that makes us decide not to take it. Maybe we had all beasts, and we tripled into a Motley Phalanx, but we have a all beast board so we kept rolling for a Goldrin. In my case at least it is usualy something I did wrong. Also sometimes... we just lose. Sometimes you can get nothing. Those games we just have to recognize as being rare, and que up the next. It feels bad, but maybe the next game we hit every triple! Maybe its always the perfect card! MAYBE we roll the lobby! That is what keeps me playing.

It is how the French spelling of Damage.. yeah the French... ok I mispelled it! If that is the worst thing accuracy wise though I can live with it.

There is a season pass for BG's. If you look at the rewards track in the BG's section there is a free one, and a pay one. The pay one unlocks the extra two heroes.

People play Hearthstone Battlegrounds for fun? Since when? Everyone I’ve encountered there are sweatlords who take it too seriously and care way too much about their game ranks. If Battlegrounds wasn’t another way for me to complete in-game quests, I would have avoided it like the plague. 🙄
